I wasn't sure about making the switch from thick western bath towels to thin Turkish style. I wasn't convinced they could possibly be as absorbent or as pleasing against the skin. However, after a strong recommendation I made the order. After my next shower I was thoroughly delighted and am now fully converted. The Ayin towel is clearly extremely high quality. It's soft and has an absorption capacity better than any towel I've known.

When I first looked at this towel listing, I knew I was going to take a leap fully knowing there wasn't any reviews yet. Right before taking the plunge to order it, I noticed there was one comment, and it got 5 stars. I have been reading several reviews on several different brands of Turkish towels, and this was one of a few I just bought.I got it 2 days ago, and washed it the first day, 3 times, and air dried it overnight. I used it yesterday morning. I did deal with some lint, and it absorbed, but not as well as I wanted it to.I did read on other reviews, from other companies on Amazon, that there will be lint in the beginning, and the more washes, the softer and more absorbent it will become. So, I wasn't disappointed, just thought I should try washing it again, 2 more times, then drying it on Wrinkle Free setting on the second to the lowest setting, just above Air Dry, below Low Heat. I dried it twice.I used it on my son that night after his shower, and it dried him very well. I did notice that his skin felt softer than usual. That was something I also noticed with my own skin the first time I used it. Not sure how that is. Perhaps it's because the towel absorbed the water from my skin so well?I used it again today, much more absorbent, and the patches that soak up water on the towel dried fairly quickly, slightly dampened, but fast enough that I could use it to dry myself again if I wanted to 10 mins later!Again, my skin felt so soft. Plus, the towel dried me up so much more than my other fluffy towels, which I have since thrown away after 5 years of use. It didn't dry my hair up very well, I have long mid-back length hair. Again, the towel will become more absorbent after each washing. So, hopefully it'll dry my hair even better after more washes.One thing I had noticed, which I always take notice of is the label and tag. Out of all these other Turkish towels that are listed on Amazon, only Ayin has their label embroidered on the towel, instead of a sewn on label. Their tag is also good quality, and states that it is 100% Aegean Cotton.That right there is enough for me to notice the quality of this towel, and I am about to buy another one right now.

I got a bath towel for myself and a set of hand towels as a gift and all the items were lovely! The bath towel is soft, absorbent, and understated, so is both great for drying off and as decoration when not in use. The hand towels made for a perfect housewarming gift, both useful and beautiful.

Love this towel - it's super soft, high quality and fashionable. Great for the beach or yoga practice. The item was delivered very fast, arrived in great packaging. I am a huge fan of Turkish towels, have been using them for bath, beach, yoga for a while and this one is at a different level - the quality is second to none and I love the ethos behind the brand too. I love these towels they are so nice and soft. I washed them before using and have found that they really do get softer after each wash. I got the neutral color and I love it, they will go with any style or color scheme you have! I like them so much I just ordered two more!!
