Not too shabby!
So after reading all the reviews, I decided to buy this lowering kit for my 96 civic. In all my reading I kept hearing that this was a stiff and harsh suspension and now that I've had this lowering kit on my car for about four weeks now, I can tell you that it is very soft and not stiff. Maybe people posting that it is stiff is comparing it to stock parts. In the past I have had eibach lowering springs that costed well over $700 and they were very stiff which was actually great performance wise. I also replaced the stock struts and shocks with performance grade equipment so I know for a fact that it's not my shocks and struts that's making it feel a little bouncy or rather that the car follows every dip and bump in the road causing a little too much weight transfer from high to low causing loss of grip. However, for the price I got my car lowered it handles better and looks really good. An added plus is that it's adjustable. I'm satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone that wanted to lower their car at an affordable cost.

Also not because its half a alloy tube and half a spring if one and of the car goes up off the ground its gunna sound horrible c
Fit ok on new struts . Kinda sketchy fit as the adjuster is resting "different on the flange of the strut . But not a problem if youre not tracking it .Now because these are adjustable the coil is half of what straight lowering springs would be by themselves so the ride is going to be very very much harsher than just getting lowering springs . thats the con . Advantage is because its not sagging around and its really stiff getting into slanted areas without hitting bumpers is easier . Also not because its half a alloy tube and half a spring if one and of the car goes up off the ground its gunna sound horrible coming down because the adjustment tube is gunna separate from the spring in which case they will make a noise when meeting back together once the wheel is back on the ground. Overall good purchase , but will be getting full quality coilovers in the future.

Good Deal, Fast shipping, I like them
I put these on my 2000 civic ex coupe. The box comes with everything you need including instructions. I put them on my stock (old) shocks and lowered them all the way. The car looks super clean with the coils all they way down. I can go into driveways and over speed bumps with good angling. The only negative is My ride is VERY VERY bouncy. it could be the coils or could be my crappy stock shocks. I don't know. I have gone 100MPH on these and have had no issues. I have done some hard cornering and they held just fine. I picked up some cheap strut bars from amazon and the car handles nice. obviously you will not get track quality performance out of these but if you want your daily driver lowered for a cheap price I would go with these.

Good Product
Well, i bought this coil overs mainly because of the reviews i saw posted, well i installed this and they are pretty alright, although they are more stiff since they are shorter, you can have the car (Civic 96 EX) at stock level or lower it however you want, the ride is the same, very bumpy, but very stable, car can now take heavy curbs without making itself seem as if it was to flip over, it feels very tight and the wheels are at the ground just perfectly, i can hear the front wheels both squeaking, where as before one tire would lift and the other would have all the weight of the car, very stable an very good product, i recommend it. Just make sure to adjust it properly and the stock sleeves (dust covers) will have to be cut or buy new ones to protect the shock absorbers.

Coilovers
I have had these installed for 2 weeks i think. I would have to say....not bad. Everywhere i have read people shy away from ordering from amazon or ebay. I bought these to lower my car and to handle a bit better than stock and i am satisfied, i dont plan on track racing i just want to be lower and look good at the same time, it is a street car i am building on a budget. If you plan on hitting the track then i suggest a full suspension setup. The install was easy (done plenty of them) still dont know why i chose a color if you cant see them. I plan on getting more things for my car from this seller, that is if they have the item i am looking for but they will the first place i look, somethings i know that they will not carry but yeah...

You get what you pay for
I bought these because they actually had some reviews that were posititve. Overall decent quality for the price. Everything shown in the picture was delivered, however the sleeves were black instead of silver as shown. The only other issue is that the holes to insert the allen set screws were not there, not drilled nor tapped. Besides that they have a decent ride that is not too excessively bouncy. Nothing a new set of shocks won't fix.

Correctly installed...
So I bought these and installed them on his civic and the results are more than expected. They are very straight forward and if you install them correctly you won't get a crazy amount of noise out of them. It's been more than a few months since install and other than a "clunk" every now and then he's pretty stoked and can't complain. At first the clunk irritated him but over time it goes away as in you won't notice it until someone asks you what it is.Performance...It feels stiffer, it handles better than stock but it's not going to be a track queen so I would not push these hard at all.If you want that I would buy coils for sure.Lastly and I think most important, he doesn't bounce crazy like you see other Hondas on the road do with Improperly adjust/set coils. His car bounces but with the road if that makes sense and doesn't make you wanna wear a sports bra.All in all it's a cheap way to get what you want but I would def recommend to a sportier shock!

Ride quality sucks!
I put these on yesterday and the ride quality sucks! Its so bouncy its not even funny, its so annoying! You honestly do get what you paid for. It does lower your car pretty low but not worth the ride at all! I would honestly bought a name brand and something more expensive. Like I said you get what you paid for.. Get a high end product.
