Hits the nail on the head
I’ll admit, I’ve never been a fan of the N64 controller, the shape, the feel of it in your hands, the analogue stick , so as soon as i saw this it was an easy buy for me, the controller itself is immense, I would go as far to say it exceeded my expectations, it doesn’t have the build of a cheap 3rd party controller, instead everything is solid, well built thick plastic, the controller in the hands feels perfect, the grips are perfectly shaped and extremely comfortable, the D-pad isn’t “quite” as tactile as the original N64 controllers, but it’s by no means bad, if does the job and sits on a central pivot so there is no mushy inputs there. The biggest star is the show however goes to the analogue stick , it’s ultra smooth , no dead zone at all, highly accurate, moving it in any direction in tiny increments is no problem at all, this goes far and above the original stick. Accuracy is comparable to a new Xbox one or ps4 analogue stick. The face buttons are also good, they don’t have any gimmicky annoying clicky micro switches like a lot of so called “premium” controllers have, instead they function in the traditional way with rubber membrane pads, they do the job as good as any quality controller that uses the same membrane function. As far as I’m concerned a must have controller for the N64

Finally a modern pad for my old console
Used it on the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time last night. Worked really well, no issues with accuracy using the bow or hookshot. The pad feels good and the analogue stick is excellent. One thing I didn't love was having the Z button on both triggers but this will just take some time getting used to as I still try to use it like the standard pad. All in all very happy with the purchase

Great
This has brought new life to my N64. Goldeneye and Zelda are now a joy to play. It seems to be built well and is comfortable to use. I should have got one of these ages ago.

Works well would buy again.
Actually works!Had a few other n64 3rd party controllers As can’t get Nintendo ones. They all have been substandard and don’t work well. This is a good one though. Has a more GameCube controller feel to it than n64.Would deffo buy another one.

Absolutely brilliant product. This controller works perfectly it feels so good to be able to play my 64 games now and not worry about the dodgy stick on my older controllers

Play old games on a modern hdmi tv.
This is a present for my son, towards his N64 console which is the modernized version, it does seem to be doing what it should. So far.

Absolutely fantastic
A comfortable and well designed controller of such quality that it feels like its first party. Having recently (re)bought a N64, this was high on the list of accessories since seeing it showcased online, and may have even enticed me to buy the console in the first instance! I was surprised at how comfortable I found the inverse trident design of the original controller, something I didn't expect after 20 years (!), but the Brawler64 is still the one I pick up first for a quick playthrough. Highly recommended, superior to the design of the Hori and RetroBit, and worth every penny. I love it. 5/4 stars.
