I bought this printer after owning a Canon for almost a year. The Canon printer was very similar in terms of price and functionality but the HP is soooo much easier to use! It's almost just a plug and play printer. You do need to download an app to your computer and/or phone but after that it's intuitive to use, especially the scanner! I had a few issues with the built in fax option but that's not important to me so I'm not too concerned. Print easily from your phone or computer wirelessly - set up for the connection was fast and easy!I had a cheap HP printer a few years ago and it was a workhorse until the day I gave it away ( a mistake!) I've only had this printer for a few weeks but so far it is perfect for my home office and super affordable even on my limited budget.

I couldn't download the app..I did call team HP support..the technical support through of phone said ..I had virus in my Network ??..that make any device at home with window unable to download the app...I said What !!!...My Network had a virus!!.. Really..Wow..and also he should fix that for $130.00. Which was a technical warranty support for 1 year warranty !!They trying make extra money to fix a problem that they must fix...I'm from Chile and leaving on Jersey city. My Niece helped me online from there through 'Teamviewer'..after 45 min. He did installed my HP printer.I cant Believe HP technical Support is a lie and they want stole money from costumers..Soo Bad 🙄

Easiest set-up of any of the tens of printers I've used over the past 30 years! Unboxed it and had it up and running in a matter of minutes without referring to the directions once. It seemed to do everything everything itself! Network connections of several sorts are very easy and effortless. Print quality is excellent. I encourage you to take advantage of the HP Instant Ink trial subscription. It's free for the first four months! The only detractor in all of this is that the literature that comes with the printer is woefully inadequate. If I hadn't taken the time to find the 130-page users manual on my own (no link if the accompanying product information), I'd have missed out on many features that aren't explained on the features list or on the specs sheet. Things like Bluetooth printing, WiFi direct printing, email printing, etc. should all be spelled out in the literature that comes with the product.

Took longer than usual to receive printer through Amazon , I was kept informed of shipping progress though . Prints nicely , connects to wireless appliances easily , has its own email address , I have received printed labels emailed from another state in which they used the printers e mail address . How cool is that ? Pretty cool ! I did take advantage of the auto ink cartridge program , free ink up to 15 copy's a month , $1.00 , per up to every 10 copy's a month over 15 copy's . No roll over month to month though . We do not print many copy's so works for us nicely . Over all I feel I made a good choice for us .

Nice printer, I installed in front cab of.my work van.I used cushion ( 6 layers ofbubble rap) a few $worth and anchored it with a button style technic with survival rope tie rap mounts and 2 rare screw anchors with hook latches on the rare of the printer. It power source come from a inverter I also purchased on amazon. I have my phone directly plugged into the printer through usb cord with a square reducer conversion adaptor (it's the one for sending and recovering large band data from the computer). Works great?I think I better take it out in the winter so the ink does not freeze though?

I ordered this printer based on 8 five star reviews. This printer was impossible to set up w/o technical support, and even with 3 grueling hours of tech support, during which our computer was controlled by the tech support person, it wouldn't print!!! I had been assured everything was working. It wasn't!! Now I'm waiting on a replacement, and I'm sick and exhausted. Don't believe the glowing reviews stating the set up is simple. I'm hoping I got a lemon. I'll leave another review when I attempt to set up my replacement.update 8/14/19 After going back on Amazon to order a replacement, I found the same printer over $30 cheaper, and the reviews were terrible. Based on the reviews and my own experience, I cancelled my replacement order. I just checked my online checking account and was shocked to see a charge from HP for $37! I called their 800#, and spoke with a very rude associate who told me I would have to contact Amazon for a refund. Amazon told me they weren't responsible for the charge and I would have to contact my bank. I'm now waiting for my bank to investigate the unauthorized charge. HP printers can't be set up w/o providing a charge/debit card up front. They are crooks, and my bank told me the investigation could take 10 days. Don't buy HP printers. I'm just hoping they don't randomly charge me even more $ on my debit card. Bottom line - HP is no longer a trustworthy company. They're crooks and I'm sick, exhausted and outraged. They're more interested in selling ink than providing a printer that actually works.

I needed help installing it, but I chalk it up to my inexperience. There are two areas in which this printer excels. First, besides printing wirelessly via Bluetooth, it's connected to the internet, and you can ask it to print from another location - with it's own personal email address. But second, just as important as its technical superiority, is the fact that with it's internet connectability the company will automatically ship you ink once it detects you are running low, at a very nominal price. No more having to get in the car, go to a store and buy replacement cartridges for 30% of the original cost of the printer! And oh yes, the quality of the printing is perfect.
