150cc Chinese GY6 w/ Iridium Spark Plug, Orange Starter Coil, and this CDI. ///On a fresh new day with this CDI my scooter started right up. You could hear the Rev being up as if it's been warmed up for a few minutes when really it JUST started up. She takes off faster no doubt, NO hesitation from the line, and at about 20 yards, you'll be at a higher speed than you were with the stock CDI. I did switch between stock and aftermarket CDIs several times to make sure I wasn't imagining things. ///I wish I had my tach installed to tell you what the RPMs were doing but I made some changes to my handlebars and went with just a Tom Tom as my speedo. ///So my scooter feels like a much more reliable piece of transportation but this is also with an iridium spark plug and a new coil (one of them orange ones). ///Now I have tried these pieces separate from each other, like the stock CDI with the new coil, etc, and the coil/spark plug combo was the biggest difference. I can't believe how cheap the stock coil is. ///I think the million dollar question is how about top speed? Will you gain a few mph? I did NOT gain any MPH. Was doing 50 max, and still doing 50.. Max. Maybe this CDI will unleash more potential with other performance parts, but not with the few lil changes I made. I don't have the intake, rollers, stuff like that.. So yeah, no top speed gains, just that higher rev and a quicker takeoff. ///Hope that helps! ///Note: That Rubber sleeve holder for the stock CDI will fit this one if you work it on there, but if you go back to the stock CDI, it will be a lil too loose (you can add electric tape or a zip tie).

I got the right one AC ones and still doesn't work. I had to switch back to the old one and starts up fast2nd CDI That does work.

I got this for my Soleil gt and everything worked but I didn’t feel any power gain. I think I might have got some top end speed but nothing really noticeable.
