Game that was Hard to find in physical format.
I went into this with simple word of mouth. Not having any context whatsoever. I simply could not find this game anywhere on shelves. Saw a reprint available on Amazon and scooped it up.The intro cutscenes and about first couple hours and change-admittedly, didn't draw me in. The tutorial essentially taught you basic stuff that can seem somewhat confusing at least until you "get it". Once the bad guys showed up on screen, the darker tones of the story started coming to light. As a consequence of personally finding the protagonist annoying, it made said bad guys all the more welcome. Then you start seeing the "weapon". And the combat coming unto its own. Connecting the dots.Roughly about 58 hours into it. I had fun just grinding out xp in a mixed bag of all the quests available in the 2nd area. Seeing the story finally unfolding.I have yet to finish this grand adventure I've begun. But I have to say, the experience I've had-minus 2 or 3 hours-has been entertaining. Spiritually, it very reminiscent of rpgs from an earlier era. Simpler times.Although, it can be said that we should have higher standards for what these consoles can do. Yes the switch is very underpowred. Yes the games struggle on it sometimes. It's endearing and part of the charm, for me at least. All in all, if like me you've missed out on this game-if you're on the fence about it...fat chance you'll find it on sale, new. I can personally couch for what this game is. It's pretty damn good. One last thing, for parents or people that might find it offensive-there are adult themes here that encompass a large spectrum of what that could mean. Some call it fan service. Some call it childish. Some call it gross. As per usual, men and women will agree, some of these characters were created with the intent to make imaginations "spark up". It wasn't an issue for me but you'll definitely get the obligatory low/high angles on the less subtle characters. In conclusion, buy the damn game.

Great game
I love the Xenoblade series, as well as any game developed by Monolithsoft. I will say Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is probably my personal least favorite or the series, but it's still a fantastic entry in the series. A 100% recommend!

A Worthy Edition to the Xenoblade Franchise
Seeing how I have been a fan of Monolith Soft for a long time since Xenogears,I have loved their games even in rough patches of Xenosaga. Xenoblade on the Wii was a game I got the EU Version for and participated in Operation Rainfall. The 2nd game changes a lot between the 1st game and X but also made the battle more kinetic if a bit hard to get into due to lackluster tutorials. The story of the game takes a more Shounen Anime Approach that is unlike past entries but it does reveal more layers than you expect later on. Rex is a character that grew on me and I have come to love by Xenoblade 3. Pyra is a cinnamon bun and the Villains are soke of my favorite in the franchise. Amalthaus even had me asking if in the end were his actions not justified in some way. Jin and Malos being a duo I loved as well with their backstory especially in Torna. The Gacha System can be a pain but at the very least no real currency is used to partake in it. It is how you get new Blades and Legendary Blades have various chances with KOS-MOS being about less than 1% to pull which I luckily got Early Game. There is a lot I love about this game to fit into this review but I can see why this game is still the highest selling title in the franchise.I hope that future games would take more after this one and maybe add back some gameplay elements seen in past games like Xenoblade Chronicles X.

A Must-Play for a Xenoblade Fan
I love this game. I decided to pick it up thanks to Chuggaaconroy’s playthrough on YouTube, and it’s so much fun playing the game myself. The story is interesting, and the cast of characters are amazing. The combat system is really fun once you know how it works. If you’re looking for something to play, get this game. I’m 90 hours in and barely started chapter 6, so it’ll keep you busy for a long time!

A Fantastic Game!
This is a great game and an excellent point for newcomers to the Xenoblade Chronicles to begin with. However, if I had to list a complaint, it would be about the overly sexualized designs of many of the female characters in the game. Other than that however, this is a magnificent game.

Great game at a great price $60
I have been searching for XC2 physical for a while now. The prices for it are usually outrageous, but I found a steal for $60 (typically $80 online). The game is the European version (Pegi 12), not a huge issue for me as the English is the exact same between the American and European version. The European version may actually be worth more in the long run since typically Europe gets less shipments when it comes to Nintendo games for some reason. Anyways amazingly fun game, If you like Dragon Quest 11s, or really any JRPG you will enjoy this game.

Cheaper than the Scalpers
Two of these characters were announced for another game I do not play, driving the price up considerably because boobs or something. The higher price made me want this title, despite the chances of me ever playing it to be next to zero. Still, paying $50 here is better than the $120 it was everywhere else. The case looks nice on my self along with all the other untouched switch games.
