SunpentownUC-989 Electric Dual-Buffer Stand-Up Shoe Polisher

My son asked "Santa" for a shoe polisher for Christmas and was very happy to receive this one. He has to wear dress shoes for work and needed an easy way to keep them looking good. He keeps it near the door, so when he leaves in the morning it only takes a few seconds to shine his shoes before he leaves. Does a good job with very little effort. Good product.

I only gave it 4 stars because it bogs down sometimes if you get your foot to close. The nicer ones have a little more umph!! and don't bog down that way. For the price it puts a nice shine on your shoes and can't be beat for convenience. I would purchase again.

This a very durable shoe and boot polisher. It's great for polishing and touch up shining of your shoes and boots. I use it all the time to keep my footware shiny and protected.

Who knew that a shoe buffer could bring someone so much joy?! This dual-buffer shoe polisher is absolutely amazing!! We use this amazing thing almost everyday. It is super easy to set up and do not take up much room. The quality of this polisher is unmatched and I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a shoe buffer. It really is amazing!

Works well & very easy to use. Don’t know how anybody could have a problem using this product. Apparently there were some reviews where people say the motor isn’t strong enough. This thing isn’t a bench grinder where you’re trying to shave down metal. You hold the shoe lightly against the wool buffing pads & let the friction melt the wax. Works perfectly for that. However, I don’t know that it’s worth $80 or whatever I paid for it. I’d say the results are marginally better than what I can do with my horse hair brush. If you are very lazy or very rich, this may be worth it. I am lazy but not rich so I wouldn’t buy it again but it does work. I’m hoping this will make my life easier by allowing me to just quickly buff my shoes while wearing them as opposed to polishing them every couple of weeks. If that’s the case, then this product will definitely merit 5 stars all around.

After over a decade of service the old boot buffer at station went out and it was time to find a new one. I purchased this one and so far it has stood up well to use by a couple hundred officers for the past several months. Assembly was easy, though you do need to remember one side is reverse threaded like bicycle pedals.I will say the company really needs to change the artwork in the box. The lady appears to be using the product in a way not intended in the design.... (Unanimous opinion of my wife, sergeant, coworkers, and the janitor.)

This is about the equivalent of wiping your shoes with a mink oil sponge. It will give a nice finish, but only if you’ve already put the manual work in. Hard to get at spots other than the toe if you’re wearing the shoes, which is how this was designed to be used. But it is not useless and it is a cool thing to have if you’re that type of guy.
