Great gift! Must have for new mom
I needed everything in this when I first came home from the hospital with my new baby. This is a great started pack for breast feeding or pumping mom's! I bought one for my friends baby shower because I liked mine so much.

A nice gift idea for a breastfeeding mum. Love the ingredients in the organic nipple balm!
So I got the Bamboobies Breastfeeding Starter Kit mostly for the Boob-Ease Nipple Balm. I had eyed it recently while researching natural nipple balms sold on Amazon in preparation for round 2 of breastfeeding when my daughter arrives at the end of September. I haven’t breastfed in a while, not since my son was a baby over 3 years ago. I do, however, remember how cracked and sore and painful my nips became and how a good, emollient product helped ease the agony and discomfort.I used Earth Mama Angel Baby last time but I’m always willing to try new brands if the ingredients seem promising - and the Boob-Ease nipple balm has a winning formula in my book. (I’m a pretty crunchy mum and I do try to veer on the side of natural/organic products, especially where my LOs are concerned.) It is organic, free of lanolin (which I think is a problematic ingredient), and there are no essential oils (which can cause irritation). 😊 I don’t foresee my daughter having a problem with this balm as the ingredients are pure and there is no need to wash it off before I feed her.The other offerings in the box are purely bonus items for me but I think they’ll be nice to have. Obviously, with my daughter still growing in my womb, I have not been able to try any of these products and test their effectiveness but my impression is that the Bamboobies has put together a thoughtful, practical little starter set for a breastfeeding mum.Since I got this starter kit for myself, it didn’t really bother me that the box came kind of squashed, as whoever shipped it thought it would be fine to do so in the blue-and-white plastic Amazon bubble mailer envelope. 🙄The lack of common sense of some people just boggles my mind sometimes, and had I ordered this as a gift, I would have been pretty upset. Just something to keep in mind if you DO plan on ordering this to give to someone. Pray that the person who ships it to you packs and ships it with care.*I will update on every product’s performance after my daughter arrives and I get to test them out.

Cute, thoughtful gift set
We brought our newborn home from the NICU a few days ago, but even before that, my wife was working so hard on nursing. It's hard work at first. Truly an act of love. Pumping 8 times a day when recovering from a C-Section, dealing with all the weird new issues... it's just so easy to give up on it.The kit certainly didn't solve that problem, but it was a very thoughtful way to help with a couple of the issues. The washable nursing pads are soft, comfortable, and effective and blocking leaks. We use them overnight, or when at home, and they are just a nice way to stay more comfortable. They are contoured and conform properly and seem to stay in place, which is the most critical feature to do their job.The thin bamboo pads are pretty good too. If you use these, bring spares and don't be afraid to swap them out before milk gets through. The bambo-ease goo is a lot like Lanolin cream, but thicker, and smells faintly like licorice. It's all natural, edible stuff, and it helps a ton with irritation. Nipples can hurt a lot when you start out, and part of this is, in my opinion, getting the baby to latch properly. But part of it is preventative. I've heard from others to just use a little milk on the nipple, but you probably need more. The goo provided did an outstanding job and feels really wholesome. You also get a simple bag to store these items, which I recommend you just reserve for the disposable pads (in your purse). Bring plenty so you aren't worried about replacing them often. The kit will support nursing for several weeks or more, and new moms will find it fun and practical.

Amazing!
This is the perfect gift for a new mommy! I nursed five boys-and I have to say nursing pads are a must. You're out at the grocery store, you hear a baby cry (doesn't have to be yours!) and WHOOSH! Let down. Walking around with huge spots on your shirt isn't a good luck-which is what we used to do 'back in the day.' And than came nursing pads. I have to say it took me awhile to warm up to the washable version, more because washing them they never seem to be as absorbent as they were to begin with-I can say I didn't have an issue with these. (I do handwash them and dry flat, unless they are absolutely soaked)The disposable pads are nice and soft, always a plus, and they are thinner than previous versions-very nice if you are wearing a top that's a bit more fitted. They are made of eco friendly material-and that's always a plus. The little wet dry bag is nice is you are out. I haven't used mine, but I like having it if need be.The nipple cream is wonderfully soothing! Again, they didn't have items like this when my oldest was born, but nursing is a skill, and it takes some getting used too. Rarely will you nurse a little one and not run into some issues with dryness or cracking, having something handy to help with that discomfort is a must-and this does the job! It is 100% certified organic as well-another plus. The price is spot on in my book-reusable pads can cost upwards of ten to 15 dollars a pair, and in this one you get two pairs-that alone is worth the cost and the other items are just the icing on the cake.
