I do dungeness crabbing from the pier and I am a little surprise the reel is really smooth as advertised. I spooled with Kastking 30lb monofilament line and got above 350yd maybe more if I spooled it tighter. The reel had no issue reeling in a 6oz from the pier. I only give a 4 stars because when I removed the spool to tie the my line. I noticed the gear exposed under it is made of plastic. This made me feel that over time, the reel will lose strength and fail on you.Overall, it is lightweight and the black and red pair very nicely with my Fiblink 10' surf rod.I reduced this from a 4 stars to a 2 stars because after about 2 months of use on the weekend, this reel is broken. The knob that is used to hold the reel handle broke off and this caused me to loose a Dungeness crab on 02/24/2019.

Got 30 pound Jack caravelle but it was flexing a bit. Held up. Just got to say look at diameter not mono capacity. Way off. Got the 10000 and holds maybe 150 of 40#. Almost sent back for 12000 but too lazy. Overall for the price not bad. Some flex in the part that hooks to rod and in handle. But overall so far 1 trip and it held up.Update had a nice red snapper on and spool stopped all the way down and piece under spool jammed and wouldn't reel. Had to break piece under reel just so itd reel and all the line piled on top. Couldnt even reel with pressure. Had my brother hand lining fish and lost it before we got it to the boat

Very smooth action. Becareful with sand binding the bearings. A week later the color started to discolor in the platic. Also the sand in the bearings is an issue. Tried to clean and lubricate but no directions for maintenance as it was made in China. Dont waste you time.

For the price it’s great I just used it for creek fishing in saltwater .. caught 2 monster fluke off the beach ..the key is to lube the reel before first use then after every time you use the reel rinse with fresh water and a few squirts of lube dry with hand towel or rag I use jb 80 it’s great lube for fishing equipment it will last and have no issues

Good real except for the plastic nut I found a stainless nut That fit good but overall It’s pretty good real

When I ordered the water filters on the 30th of Sept. I had no idea I ordered another fishing real. The real came exactly 3 days after. Never got a confermation that I ordered it by mistake. Now you want me to send it back to China. It will cost undoughtably a lot more than sending it back to your distribution centre in Southern Ontario. Like 2 months . Disappointed especially not even knowing I ordered without a confermation e mail. This reel came from your distribution centre not China. I never ordered it at all. I still have it now what.

Reel jammed on the second day of fishing. Part broke off and it seems to still work surprisingly. The drag Loosens as you fish unfortunately
