Lack of instructions led to a fried board
Before i start, I should mention I am just getting into this kind of thing, so I'm inexperienced. I ordered this board with the intent of building a Bluetooth speaker with a subwoofer and tweeters. The only problem was there were absolutely no instructions. The only power rating on this was on the bottom of the board, saying to apply anywhere from 6-26 volts. This seemed pretty simple, so i used a 9 volt supply, but it wasn't powerful enough for a 30 watt speaker I had on hand. I them moved up to 12 volts, but it made very little difference. So I decided to try 24 volts, 2 less than the max rating. After I plugged it in, it made a sound, and turned off, letting off that distinct smell of burnt electronics. I was pretty upset about this, but decided to do some reading. I found it that applying more that 16 volts with 4ohm speakers will fry the board, which is what I had done. Well this could have been avoided by doing a bit of reading, it also could have been avoided if instructions had been sent with the package. There's also the fact that the board was put into a box much larger than necessary, which risked damage during shipping. Overall the product worked decently well, but due to lack of instructions, the board didn't last more than 10 minutes.

Convenient Upgrade for Older Speakers π. πππ
When I received this item in 1 day, it arrived in great condition. π π π As I stated connecting the Bluetooth 5.0 module to my 8 Watt β‘speakers and connected it towards my phone π±, It paired up pretty quickly. π Anyway, I tested out the sound π quality just to see how loud it was and my speakers π were able to get pretty loud. π π π Along with the remote, this is a really convenient set up for getting control over the module itself when you need it. π I really also like how lightweight the Bluetooth 5.0 module is because I wouldn't want this to add too much weight towards the speakers they are connected to. So that they I can easily either at some point add this Bluetooth 5.0 module towards another set of speakers π or place this module next to some small lightweight speakers π to help allow this setup to remain much easier to move around and set this up where ever necessary. π π π

It works great for the price - one ask and one small grumble
This little device works great...good sound, decent range...and the price is terrific, even comes with an IR remote. I built a small portable speaker with some spare speakers, and hid the face with some black tape - see top middle of the attached pic.The one ask - can the company include a clear or black faceplate for the board? Otherwise, it invites dust/bugs/etc. into the box.The one grumble - once you connect a device, it looks for and automatically re-connects. If you want to connect a different device, you either have to be outside of the range of the original connected device, or disconnect it. In other words, there isn't an easy way to force the board back into "pairing" mode.I've reached out to the company, and they were very responsive. They tried to suggest a solution, but it didn't work.So if you only connect to one main device - it's perfect, otherwise it's a little clunky disconnecting/reconnecting devices.

Wanna Built a Bluetooth speaker?
Got this beauty weeks ago, and this was my very first Bluetooth built. I got to say, I was very surprised of the clear sound at high volumes! I have a 4s battery pack, and running at 16.8 volts on 3" speakers. Man this is great! Good range on Bluetooth, and I can run this for 14 hours straight and have half of the battery life left for 14 hours more! A must if you love DIY!!!!!! Thank you.

Max volume blast on power on plus Bluetooth connect
Whoever designed this so if you lose power it resets to full volume and will make noise then was very foolish.
