Yesterday's News Soft Texture 13.2 lb

I have had cats my whole life and I've tried pretty much every type of litter. This is hands down the best litter I've ever tried. It's crazy how it doesn't stink after the cats have been peeing and pooping in it for two weeks straight. I scoop the poop, the pee just gets absorbed into the pellets and somehow magically never smells. Right now I have two crazy kittens. They like to leap in and out of the litter box and then get zoomies all over my apartment, leaving litter in every single nook and crevice. With this litter I come in with the broom once a day and sweep up the small bits that escape their litter area, but it is nowhere near the litter napalm that I get with clay or other "all natural" litters that I've tried. The soft pellets are so soft that every now and then one of my cats will lay down in the litter bin and try to take a nap. That part is kind of gross. But here's the other thing. This litter clings so effectively to poop, and it is so light and soft that I never ever find poop that has not been fully covered or is just exposed to the air, making it stink or stick to the cats feet or fur. Somehow, this litter coats the poop and neutralizes and solidifies it so effectively that it's super easy to locate the bits that need to be removed from the litter. With other litters, I had to scrape and scrape and scoop huge land masses of clumped urine and poop. Those days are officially over. I cannot tell you how much this litter has reduced the exhaustion I experience during the litter scooping and cleaning process. If it seems like I'm going on and on about a bag of cat litter it's because it has actually changed my life.

I put this in the litter box simply because it's easy to clean up and my cat doesn't hate it. I haven't noticed absorbency or odor issues with this litter.
