Fabulous for masa
Corn arrived in good order with minimum dusting or splitting. I cooked it in the cal solution for 25 minutes, steeped it, covered, for 16 hours. I then rinsed (being careful to leave quite a bit of pericarp for plasticity), drained it, and set it to dry over 4 layers of paper towels for 3 hours. I then ground it in the 720W food processor. It made fantastic masa with a wonderful aroma. It is delicious!

Love this corn for grits!!
I love grits and decided to try this corn. I wouldn't have anything less than this quality. Organic and Non-GMO is a must and getting harder to find. I enjoy grinding it into grits and cornmeal and sharing it with friends-- they LOVE the natural flavor and texture as much as I do.

Does not rehydrate well at all
I specifically asked whether this corn would rehydrate well and the response was "15 minutes, maybe longer." Well after 40 minutes in boiling water on the stove the corn is definitely not edible. I tried to return it but apparently they don't accept returns. I'm sure this is a fine product for some use, but the description of it as something that will rehydrate is incorrect. I'm not behind in prepping my meals for backpacking and need to spend more money to buy another product.

Lot of corn dust
I was very disappointed in this bag as it had lots of corn dust. Ugh. I have bought before and it was really beautiful. Now I’m afraid to buy more as it looks like the bottom of the barrel.

It’s organic
Amadea my African Gray parrot loves to eat corn, and I don’t want her to have corn that has pesticides or is gmo. So she is happy eating her organic corn.

I like the product but 50% broken grains/Positive update
VERY POSITIVE UPDATEThe response from Mulberry Lane Farms was quick and superb —same day. They offered to replace the order immediately. Excellent service. I’ve updated to 4 stars. Thanks, Helen.Have ordered this a few times and been fairly satisfied. I use it to make maize flour for my wheat allergic child. My latest order was however some 50 percent broken grains which I have to hand sort and discard. Quite disappointing. It could be a bad batch? Reached out to Mulberry Farms. Waiting to hear back. I don’t mind paying for a new batch but just can’t be sure it will be any better.
