Very helpful in getting my daughter more comfortable with solids.

I had a client that had severe sensory impairments. This would help calm them.

I am a pediatric PT who works with infants and toddlers. I’ve had this device for 3 months now with excellent success. I use it as a motivational tool to produce movement. Most babies want to hold it and place it in their mouths. The batteries last A LONG TIME. I would recommend buying replacement batteries as well. The babies who do not like this tool usually have oral or tactile hypersensitivity and avoid vibratory stimulation. I can get a lot of work out of babies using this little device, thus making faster progress in gross motor skills (even though this is a speech therapy tool). Would highly recommend! 5 stars.

I can't say enough good things about this tool. My child was scared of the dentist and wasn't able to get a cleaning. We tried an electric toothbrush for building her comfort with dental tools, but it was too loud and scary for her sensory concerns and she refused it. We finally purchased this tool and gave it to her to see what she thought. She was able to put it on and in her mouth the first time using it, and we practiced her touching her teeth and counting them. It is much quieter than an electric toothbrush and that makes all the difference!! Truly an amazing tool and we are so grateful to have found it. She had a dentist visit recently and blew us away by not only allowing the dentist to brush her teeth, but count them, clean them and add fluoride! THANK YOU!! This tool is worth every penny.

We use this on our 2 year old who has sensory issues. It helps with speech. He loves it! Also super easy to clean! And very durable.

I'm an occupational therapist and I mostly use this to help kids with feeding problems.The vibration helps provide more stimulation for kids who don't have as much oral awareness I've had babies who enjoyed this using this z-vibe; I also used this 11 year-old and he liked it to. Sometimes it takes a few times to introduce it slowly to them, but generally I get positive feedback with it.Pros:Versatile - It's simple in design but versatile; you can use it to play to stimulate their hands with vibration, apply it extraorally on their lips, nose, cheeks, etc., and of course dip it in food to encourage oral motor play.Design - I like that this model has made some improvements such as making the handle a more child-friendly textured plastic, as some similar ones were made with a metal handle that wasn't good for chewing on. The textured rubber brush at the end is durable and holds up when it gets chewed on by kids with teeth.Maintenance - It's easy to clean--just twist off the top and wash thoroughly, wipe the handle (do NOT submerge as you want the battery compartment to stay dry), and put it back together once everything is clean.Suggestions/cons: The vibration is quite strong and I wish it could be adjustable, as kids can get put off if the sensation is too strong. The battery is also a special one, so it's hard to find and so far I can only find them online; if they used some regular AAA batteries, it'd be easier.

We got this for my son after his speech therapist recommended it and it worked as advertised and needed.
