Good Coffee Maker (With instructions to clean the filter my method)
I was reading some of the other reviews on this product, some good some not so good. Well here is my take: This coffee maker is great, it makes a good cup of coffee. The filter has bigger holes at the bottom, and it does drain through a little faster, but this has not effected the taste of my coffee. I use a custom blend half decaf, half breakfast blend that I grind. Not daily but I grind a few days at a time. It leaves a small imprint in my kitchen which I like. If you want a good cup of coffee give this a try. I just put the coffee in the filter and pour boiling water over the coffee. (wait until it stops boiling and settles down). The filter needs to be kept clean. The way I clean it is after I dump out the coffee grounds, I take a piece of a paper towel, wet it with water and add dish soap. Running it around the inside of the filter pressing lightly. It will push out all the coffee oils that will clog your filter. Rinse well, it will be squeaky like when you wash and rinse your hair, you will know all the soap is out. Keeping the filter clean is the key to using the pour over filters. I let mine air dry and it is ready for the next pot. I went through many different filters before I figured out how to keep them clean, and keep them flowing the way they should. I hope this will help someone who is having trouble also. All in all a good buy...

I really like it! I Do!! BUT!!!
With my Quarantine in full bloom as well as the pour over craze, that's taken over my house, AND trying to ignore some but in full SUPPORT of the PEACEFUL ones in the world, I have to fully admit that I really like the Uno Casa Pour Over Coffee Maker except for a few flaws that someone else may ignore, accompanied by my humble words.Capacity for size, acceptable!Looks, to say the least, IT reminds me of me!Short N Chubby! Very presentable, I may add:)Filter could be better but I use paper as well so no issues there. The rubber base is a great idea because regardless what they claim... THEY ALL CAN GO KLINK, KLINK!"MY" peeves are like my hands... small! And I am not too clumsy...yet! But as you can see, per the pics, this is the way I have to hold it in order to pour.No biggie, right? UHHH, YESSSS!!!! Specifically if the temp is hovering around 200 f over your Chubby fingers. Also per their description "HEAT RESISTANT SILICONE PAD AND SLEEVE" well they both resist heat very well but not MY CHUBBY HANDS!The base I wish it stayed very hot to keep my second cup hot but it does not! And my second cup in the microwave it goes because I wan it as hot as my first cup.The sleeve gets hot enough for you to hurry and that's the last thing I wanna do when I'm making my FIRST cup of coffee. The cute lid is pretty useless if you place it when the brewing is finished because the steam pushes it up so it can't do it's job as claimed in the description. If you can ignore, what I couldn't, IT may work for you! Too Bad Tho:(

Pretty good!
For the price it’s great. The top cover thing it comes with doesn’t stay out tho so that’s kinda useless. But beyond that no complaints

Fast great tasting coffee.
I use a separate heater for my water that has my water up to 170F in about a minute, and by that time ive had already added the coffee to the basket and be ready to pour. In less than a minute later ill have fresh hot coffee that isn't overheated, isnt over-brewed, and even with testing cheap and expensive brands, all end up much smoother and better tasting than drip or even my fiancee's french press. The best part is that even with the expresso fine grind, I get NO grounds passing through the screen. At worst there is a very fine dust that gets thru. Better yet in the time it takes to make the coffee, is the same amount of time it takes to clean the screen and wash the empty glass to be ready for brewing more whenever I please.

Makes great coffee
Works faster than my French press and makes great tasting coffee. I was motivated to try this with a paper filter because unfiltered coffee can raise cholesterol. What I realized is that paper filtered coffee tastes more like instant coffee and I couldn't enjoy it. The mesh filter that comes with this does a better job of filtering than my French press and preserves the flavor of my coffee. I believe it still lets through the compounds that may raise cholesterol but those same compounds have many other health benefits that I am not willing to forego. This coffee maker is easy to use and I have had no problem with the filter coming apart in over 3 weeks of use so far.

Love using this!
I needed to get my big coffeemaker off of our kitchen counter due to extremely limited counterspace, and I'm the only one in the house who drinks coffee. This has been the perfect solution. I have more control over my coffee. I do miss having coffee waiting for me when I get up, thanks to the auto setting on my coffeemaker, but making pour-over coffee in the morning is sort of my meditation/wake-up/moment of peace before the day begins. It is very easy to clean when I'm done and tucks conveniently inside a kitchen cabinet. Very happy with this purchase.

Cute Brewer!
UPDATE: The coffee maker is cute and just the right size. It doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter as the traditional makers do. I like the overall design, specifically, the rubber ring on the bottom for added protection from breakage and around the neck of the carafe. After using the brewer, I have to say it actually is a pretty good brewer. When pouring in the water it starts out with a fast flow but slows down to give you a perfect brew with or without a filter. I enjoy my brewer - coffee taste great too!

'Love this little pour over!
This is a well designed pour over. I especially appreciate the silicone collar and the ring on the bottom. The collar really helps hold your grip and the bottom ring helps me not to worry about setting it down to hard and breaking it. I admit that I did replace the filter but it does work just fine, I just wanted a larger one. I counted down one star for ease in cleaning because even with small hands I can not reach inside to clean in.....although if the neck were any larger I could not hold on to it! Great product, you won't be disappointed.

It's OK... but
The product is OK. But the filter it comes with is rubbish. You can see from my picture its already come apart and I've only had it for about 2 weeks. I'd like a replacement but I also have no idea how to contact the seller.

READ ME BEFORE YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT!
READ ME BEFORE YOU BUY THIS!You must remember these techniques if you want this product to work more efficiently.• Do not over fill with coffee or BOILING water• Use a tea spoon to stir and LEAVE the spoon at the BOTTOM of the filterThis product is good over all but it takes far to long for water to filter through.I realise some people think boiling water can ‘ruin’ coffee but my coffee still tastes great!I make “Bulletproof Coffee” which is blended with ground coffee, grass fed butter, MCT oil and honey.Ground coffee takes a long time to filter through which can leave your coffee warm or even close to cold if you forget about your coffee in the kitchen. This process can take 5-8 minutes and leave you wondering if it’s worth it.So unless you’re willing to stand by the product for a while don’t bother with it.As I said I make Bulletproof coffee so I I can use a few of those minutes preparing.I’ve tried fine ground coffee to lightly ground coffee in both a mechanical grinder and an electric one with no result in filter time.I only use fine ground coffee now.So with all that said you need to spend most of your time stirring the coffee.Stir it and keep refilling with hot waterI make a 700mil drink with everything included plus a dash of semi skimmed milk for colour (pale)So I require the jug to be filled about a quarter of the way.For two normal cups of coffee fill to about half way.Don’t bother making more than two cups of coffee unless you don’t mind cold coffee after five minutes.Disgusting by the way!A table spoon of your favourite coffee beans is fine for one person. If you don’t tend to drink much coffee throughout the day like me but just need that kick up the ass in the morning then do a table spoon and a little bit more. Two table spoons of beans will make two strong cups of coffee.Depending on my time in the morning or if I can be bothered I will use a mechanical grinder which you have to manually crank yourself.Quite a good forearm exercise which is ‘handy’ for me since I’m a carpenter.Otherwise I use a electric grinder which basically just turns a blade and smashes the beans about.I have read using the mechanical grinder is the best way to make coffee.Don’t fill the filter more than half way with ground coffee.Don’t fill anywhere near the top with boiling water.Slowly pour in a circular motion to about half way.Put down the kettle. You just woke up and you’re going to be handling two jugs of boiling water.PLEASE BE CAREFUL!Use the teaspoon to stir up the water till it filters through.DO NOT FILL MUCH MORE THAN HALF WAY WITH BOILING WATERRepeat the process till your desired amount is in the bottom of the jug.You will notice the first two or three pours the water will filter through quite quickly. After that it gets noticeable slower. So here is the catch. You need to use the teaspoon as a type ‘spacer’ between the coffee and the filter. All’s you have to do is scoop right under the bottom of the coffee and leave the spoon there. It’s not a filter issue with the product it’s an airflow problem. The teaspoon helps filter the coffee through to the jug quicker meaning your coffee is adequately heated by the time you drink it.Remember I start this process with boiling water. You will know when your fresh ground coffee is no use when the water stops turning brown. As you stir it up several times you will see the ground coffee set at the bottom of the filter and your water will be much cleaner towards the end.Lifting the filter whilst the water is still draining through does nothing. It drains through too fast to absorb any coffee.I add a little extra boiling water at the end for heats sake. And that’s it.Pretty long winded but I hope it helps.I don’t mind putting the work in for my coffee.I rarely ever drink instant coffee with sugar. It’s instant for a reason. As someone who can’t eat in the morning a bulletproof coffee is very beneficial for me.It’s a lot of good brain food and a kick without those nasty comedowns and jitters from instant coffee.
