Amazing Purchase that I use daily!
All of my meat is cooked in it daily and it warms up french fries perfectly.

Not a necessity and not worth the cost.
I just received this machine and I’ve tried cooking 2 things. I tried cooking the avocado egg recipe directly from the cookbook that comes with the machine...I followed the directions to a T, and it did not cook as expected. The egg whites did not even begin to setup after the 6min cook time. I chatted in, and the agent suggested increasing the cook temp and time. So I guess the cookbook directions are just a suggestion. You gotta figure it out yourself. The second thing I cooked were tater tots. I learned from cooking these, that liners, are sooo unnecessary. During the 15 min cook time, I had to open the basket at least 5 times, because I could hear the liner moving around when the fan kicked on. Twice the liner got up into the heating element which could have caught fire. ***DO NOT INVEST IN LINERS*** The tots turned out perfect!! They were crispy and not quite as oily as Cooking them in the oven. So, shame on me for not fully understanding what an air fryer was really meant to do. I knew it cooked things with “little to no oil” but all it really is, is a small compact convection oven. I’m vegetarian, so I cook a ton of stuff in the oven. I roast a lot of vegetables, I make some casseroles including eggplant Parmesan. The only thing in my diet that can be cooked in the air fryer is the veggies. I don’t eat a lot of fried food to begin with so this really isn’t of any help to me. Those of you who eat a lot of fried foods, I can see where this would be a healthier alternative. So that’s my fault for not understanding the product.Given I’ve only cooked 2 recipes I can’t give a full complete and accurate review. The takeaways would be, do not invest in liners unless you’re lazy and can’t be burdened with cleaning your investment. Secondly, this model requires a lot of counter space and if a large part of your diet is unhealthy fried foods then, this might be for you. Since I’m vegetarian, I would ONLY use 1 of the 8 presets because they are all preset for meat. I wouldn’t bake a cake or a pizza in this thing so they are also useless.Update: Design flaw...in the bottom of the drawer that comes out is a metal shelf with holes that allows for the hot air to circulate under the food. This thing has no way to lock into the drawer. Anytime you shake your food or dump the food out, this metal shelf that is now heated to about 400 degrees, comes crashing out. It’s unsafe, it’s a pain in the ass and it launches hot food everywhere. Please fix with a way to lock it in place.

Our newest favorite thing
Having only heard other people talk about how happy they were with their air fryers, we decided to give it a shot. I chose this particular fryer after reading Consumer Reports and America's Test Kitchen reviews and we absolutely love it. There is a learning curve to adapt old recipes, but it doesn't take long. An air fryer cookbook will speed up the learning curve and there are recipes and tips online as well. But the cooking speed without heating up the house has made this our newest favorite thing in the house. Had I known how much that we would like it, I would have spent the extra $$ and got the front loading (looks like a toaster oven) model because food can be layered for more circulation and some models can also be used for dehydrating. But we have no regrets with this one. I would definitely suggest this 7 qt. model over the smaller ones because it is large enough to cook a whole chicken and has a divider that allows for a small amount of two different foods to be cooked at the same time. Cleanup isn't really as bad as some people say. Washing it is similar to washing a large pot.

I love it. Did to my expectations. ❤💪
The media could not be loaded. I really love this product. I already used it 2 times and both give me perfect results. First was fries and today I make fish in it. After the fish fry I put it back with some ketchup to fry 5 more minutes. And this is the result.

What's up with the bad reviwes
This is the second one I bought in 8 months because I have multiple properties and the results of using the fryer are addictive. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy all the way around.

This was okay
This item wasn’t very expensive but definitely worth what I paid! I wasn’t interested in buy the most expensive air fryer on the market! For what I paid, I am very happy with what I got! My husband loves it as well because it is so easy to use and he hates cooking

Must have!!
I bought this because I had read in Consumer Reports magazine that the GoWise brand was the top rated that they had tested in ease of use, easy to clean, and quietest. We decided to go with the 7qt because we have grandkids now and need to make enough french fries or chicken nuggets for everyone to get enough. I've really enjoyed using this regularly. The cook book is helpful, so is YouTube. Lots of recipes to make a quick delicious meal out there. This is now our favorite way to make chicken wings. We enjoyed ours so much we talked my wife's parents into buying the same one. They now use theirs every day!

Awesome Airfryer
I higly recommend this air fryer I have researched all of them and this one is great.Fast, easy to use, great digital displays.....the one drawback is no on/off switch. You have to unplug it to turn off. But for the cost, the size, the effectiveness I can overlook that.**update: I figured out the on off....you have to press the power button and hold in for a few seconds and then it will cycle off.***updated concern: so I have had this airfryer for 1 year it is awesome but concerned the inside coating is peeling greatly from washing & consistent use...does this have an impact on the food I am preparing??

Classic story...how did I ever manage without one?
Jumped on the band wagon subsequent to neighbourhood peer pressure and my partners un-relenting craving for chicken wings; this however is so much more...way more! The day it arrived was a productivity washout. We neglected the remainder of the work day and got straight to cutting up potatoes for french fries almost before the box was opened. Next came pre-packaged store-bought chicken wings. The cauliflower to finish. That ruined dinner with a smile.Note: That might be the last time we buy store-bought wings as they are now a snap to make at home.We now had the machine for just more than a week and I think we've used it every day. It re-heats better than a microwave, it cooks food to a crisp better than the oven. All in all this device is simple, fast and and the food is tasty. Most of us have too much humility to buy an actual domestic deep fat fryer, but here is the guilt free version.Consumer reports rates this air fryer #2 (#1 if you want a slightly larger model). Larger is better because you can put a whole chicken in it. Of course, better is relative if you have little counter space.Easy to clean, though everything in life would be easier if someone else did it. This doesn't clean itself so maybe its only excellent and not "heaven".All in all, I wish I bought one years ago. The quality of the brand is well worth the couple of extra bucks above average.

Great buy
I've waited a week or so to write this review. I wanted to test the air fryer out prior to posting. My conclusion, I wish I'd bought this earlier. I've made the ubiquitous fries (ok), mini quiche (VG), haddock (VG), frozen Brussels sprouts (excellent) and grilled cheese sandwiches (also VG). It's so much faster than my convection oven and does as good as, or better, job. The basket is super easy to clean and the unit sits well on my counter even though I bought the largest one (7 qt). There are two of us here, but we entertain a lot (or did, pre-Covid) so capacity was important to me. Checked space to cook whole chicken and it'll work fine (doing that Saturday night). Update, chicken was yummy and leftovers for tonight! We do have air-fry capability in our oven/stove but it sets the smoke alarm off every time, so waste of money there.Really enjoying my GoWise unit and highly recommend.Tonight shrimp tacos, can hardly wait!

Great product for easier cooking at home
Very good product. Easy to use. Very large capacity for fitting food. Only down side is no transparency when cooking the food. You can't tell how well the food is done, unless you pull the container out. Just need to beware of that when purchase.

First experience with an Air Fryer
We had no idea what we were getting into, but this is one our best investments. So much we sold the deep fryer. Excellent product. We are now cooking in it 3-4 times a week. Easy to clean and the food that comes out of it is outstanding. I have figured how to make crispy wings, and they are crispy!!!
