Nice fat bottom...
I have had Hogue grips on many guns. I put this on my Sig p229. My Sig came with the E2 grips which are nice, but are narrower at the bottom than I prefer for the size of my hand. The Hogue is nice and fat at the bottom allowing me a better grip and control of the gun. The finger grooves and texture also help. I have used Hogue products on my guns for years and the quality has never wavered. The Sig P229 has a decocker, exterior spring, slide release and mag release for the grips to contend with. This is a perfect fit for the Sig and I am extremely happy. The only thing negative I would say is that to replace the E2 grips on the Sig, you will need also purchase the grip screws separately. It would have been nice if they were included.

First the original E2 grips SUCKS, it only clip on the frame and it's ...
I got my Sig Sauer P229 Enhance Elite few weeks ago and I have 3 major complain about it. First the original E2 grips SUCKS, it only clip on the frame and it's made of cheap plastic cover with skateboard tape, horrible, cheap, so not comfortable and a bit loose. I got that Hogue grip and wow, what a difference. Great quality and perfect fit on the pistol, no gap, tight and solid rubber. It is perfect for bigger and/or longer hands. As my pistol didn't have any grip screws because Sig Sauer are so cheap and do not provide them on a $1100 plus pistol, I wish it would have came with the screws. But I have managed it, I want to Home Depot, got some M4x0.7 black screws, trimmed them to the good length and done.

Consistently Hogue, consistently good
A client wanted a more hand-filling grip on the P228/M11 frame. The Hogue has a slight palm swell, and it was love at first grasp.Hogue's rubber is less 'sticky' than Pachmayr's so the firearm 'prints' less when concealed.

Much better for large hands and not as slick as stock in cold weather
My stock SIG P228 grips were much too slick in cold weather in my opinion. This is my CCW gun and I needed a grip that was easy to grab and not worry about slippage in the cold weather. Also, these grips are much more hand filling and I like the finger grooves. Yes, the factory grip screws fit fine. A+

Good Grip but Makes the Handle Larger
I have always preferred finger groove grips on a gun. They just make the weapon feel more secure in my hand. This grip fits the gun correctly and it not difficult to install. The handle design on the P229 makes it large in my hand because of the doucle stack mag. This grip made it bigger. I have smaller hands, but this makes it feel uncomfortably large. What I didn't expect is that it actually forces me to have a more correct forefinger placement on the trigger. Still undecided if I will keep it on the gun, but the finger grooves and the tacky rubber provide a firm grip.

Not the best fitment
Easy to install on my m11-a1, but the seam on the back of the grip rubbed the web of my hand, which should have been seamless. Annoyed me instantly, uninstalled and put back in bag to return.

Converted!
I was a die hard fan of another manufacturer's grooved rubber grips and was reluctant to consider the Hogue product. My grip was a good fit for me and had a har solid feel. But they did not offer a grip for my Sig. So I tried the Hogue. All I can say is WOW! What a difference! I really appreciate the feel and comfort of this grip. I know a lot of it depends on the weapon and the person, but I liked this so much I bought another one for my revolver. It is comfortable, not soft but feels that way, and seems a perfect fit. My new go to grip!

Perfect for regular or larger hands
Fits well onto Sig P229. Grip is great, does well with sweaty hands. Much better than the stock grip or various others I’ve tried for the P229. Recoil is much easier to control with this grip. Definitely worth the price.
