ZdalaMitMKJ39170828 Replacement Service Remote Control fit for LG LCD LED TV

I watch long YouTube videos (critical role) and no matter what options I changed, my LG A2 would always dim fairly aggressively after a short while. I recently found the tip about turning off TCP and GSR to prevent any kind of auto dimming via the advanced settings menu, which requires this kind of service remote. It arrived in just a couple of days, and all I had to do was add two AA batteries. I was able to immediately access the "In Start" menu via this remote (with password 0413), then navigate to the OLED section and turn off TCP and GSR. This is probably too much info but I just want to reassure anyone else out there reading this that it worked perfectly!

I have several LG TVs so, since this was so reasonably priced I figured that even if I only use it a handful of times that it is still worth getting.The remote actually feels quite sturdy and arrived undamaged and as shown in the pictures.It has all of the functions for many different models of LG TVs that you could ever need, including access to service mode, and various direct access buttons that are very useful when setting up macros with voice activated IR controllers (i.e. "Alexa, turn on HDMI2", which is a macro to power on the TV and set it to HDMI2)Probably one of the most useful inexpensive items I've purchased in a while.

A must have if you own an LG tv. To disable the annoying auto dimming

I used this remote to turn off TPC option, it fixed the auto dimming issues I was having with the TV. I pressed the 'in start' button entered the pin: 0413 when prompted then scrolled to the 'OLED' tab and turned the TPC option to off. I was having a issue where the screen would slowly dim while left on a static image after a minute or two. This was a problem especially when playing games when you spend time in menu's or when reading documents in game. Turning this option off probably isn't great for the screens life span but it solved the problem I had with dimming.

It's cheap and it's easy to use. I purchased this remote to enter hidden settings. I needed to fix the auto dimming problem on my lg c1 OLED TV. This remote did the job. It works great and you can't beat the price.
