like the product, but disappointed with the company
I considered getting the larger size clipper, but I feel like I made the right choice with the Axis. The smaller size works better than larger clippers when trimming my mustache under the nose and around the mouth. I use it for full body grooming with and without guards and it's very efficient, and plows through any amount of hair. But, if I had a full head of hair or a full beard, I'd probably want the larger clipper. Charging is fast and battery life is excellent. My product came with a printed card that included a warranty registration number. However, when I went to their website and registered, there was no field for the number, just a name and email. So, when you register your product, you are actually signing up for their email list...and, yes they immediately starting sending me spam. When I called them out on this, they admitted that it's a little cheesy, but laughed it off. So...for $49.95 I like the product, but I have little respect for the company and won't expect much from them!

Was OK for a few months, then broke and Brio says there is no warranty when purchased from Amazon!!!
The product worked ok for a few (~8) months - the major downside during that time was the battery life - had to recharge before every shaving (shaved once a week)After 8 months the trimmer got broken (a little piece of platsic snapped off and now I cannot return the sprint to place). Contacted Brio for support and shockingly got an official response saying that since I purchased the product from Amazon, the warranty they describe in their product manual is irrelevant. From my perspective they got very bad results for product stability and for customer support.

Pulls really, really bad
I don't understand the overwhelmingly positive reviews and can't help but wonder if they're fake. I've regretted buying this from the first trim, I'm just too cheap to buy another. It pulls every single time I've used it, especially if I use the shorter clips or if I let my beard grow out just a tad. I've used cheaper trimmers in the past and didn't have this problem, so I absolutely would not recommend paying what they're asking for it. You can get cheaper trimmers (or same priced ones) that work better.Pros:- Battery life is great, but that's about itCons:- Have I mentioned it pulls really bad and hurts? I dread using it- It's definitely not the easiest to clean. There's no way that I know of to take it apart, so hairs get trapped in there and you can hear it when using it

It's not the best looking but it works amazing!
When I first got it I thought "It doesn't look great!" and then I noticed that it doesn't come with a 2mm clip that I'm used to trimming my stubble with a 2mm guard. The smallest is 3mm and 4mm on this unit. But when I cut my stubble it was perfect! PERFECT I tell you. It looks great and cuts amazing. I was worried it was going to pull my hairs but none of that. I'm happy with my buy. I don't have a big thick beard to maintain. I just needed something to keep it trip. This is perfect.

CLEAN & TRIM
Brio makes an excellent trimmer, I’d also like to try the full size. It’s easy to use, though some reviewers seem to be ham fisted. Been using it a couple months now, never cut myself as others claimed. The comb attachments easily click into place, remove with the same easy. While I really only use the number 6 it gives my beard the Summertime length I prefer. Can’t claim the ceramic blade give a superior cut to my prior stainless model. Really I wanted an update and it does an excellent job overall. It does get hot from the oscillating of the ceramic against the metal, nothing that is endangering. Overall I wish it shaved closer, it gives the same finish as my prior model. Perhaps the Zero Tolerance blade in the full size model achieves that look. The trimmer holds a charge long time, that means for a weekend to two week trip you don’t even need the charge base. It’s easy to throw in you overnight kit without a need for spare rechargeable batteries. Would say this is worth the hype and the few extra bucks, I do enjoy using it.
