Inexpensive and Accurate
This isn't genuine OEM, but it fits perfectly and it's accurate. The installation is pretty straight forward (although it doesn't come with instructions). Take the dash panel off that secures the gauge cluster (screws); remove the complete gauge cluster (screws); flip the cluster over and disconnect the wire loom from the cluster. Replace the fuel gauge and reinstall (it's really that easy although the two screws holding each side (one per side) are a bitch to get back in without a magnetic screw driver. I'd purchase this again.

Works and fits perfect
Replaced this gauge in my 1988 jeep wrangler and it works accurately and fit perfect . Great product . I replaced all the gauges in my Jeep and each one worked and fit very nicely .

Easy to install and works great!
Easy to install and works great! This product came fast. It was easy to install, looks good and works great. For $38 it beats the heck out of guessing how much gas you have. My old gas gauge was either not working or intermittent. That was annoying as heck. Save yourself some aggravation and give yourself some peace of mind. It only takes about 10 minutes to install. Replace your old busted gauge with this product.

1989 wrangler gas gauge.
My old gauge had to be thumped to make it work then got to where it almost never worked. This gauge was a perfect replacement and works like a champ. Do yourself a favor and order a new printed circuit board for the back of the gauge cluster if your having other issues or if your top has been off a lot. It’s like another $30 bucks and easy to do while your there.
