I recently got the 5X LED Magnifying Lamp, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my tech workspace. I mainly use it while working on laptops and computers, especially for spotting issues on motherboards, and it’s been a game-changer.The 1,800 lumens are super bright, and I love the stepless dimming feature, which lets me adjust the light perfectly for any task. The three color modes help reduce eye strain, which is a big plus when I’m working long hours.The 8-diopter 4.2" real glass lens gives me a crystal-clear view, which is essential for the detailed work I do. It’s amazing how much easier it is to see tiny components and connections clearly.The lamp’s design is sleek, and I really appreciate the clamp feature. The stand doesn’t stay balanced when fully extended, so the clamp is perfect for keeping it secure and stable on my desk.Overall, this lamp has made my work much more efficient and comfortable. PROS-The light is great. Very bright when you need it to be with 3 adjustment levels, but the fact that you can make the color "softer" to imitate a more natural and less harsh effect helps with seeing colors properly.-The magnifying lens is made of glass, not plastic. Which makes it more durable, easier to clean, and much clearer than a plastic lens.-5x magnification. Most of the other lamps in this price range only have 2.5 magnification, with a small one inch diameter 5x "cyclops" that I found myself using most of the time.CONS- It works fine and you do get used to it rather quickly, but I almost put the whole lamp back in the box and returned it before actually using it because it just didn't have a quality "feel" to it.-The arm is awkward, and a bit "janky". Adjust-ability and range of motion is rather limited and it takes some time getting it where you want. Especially at first.-The base is too light. If you extent the arm out to it's fullest, the lamp will tip over. A 2lb dumbell weight fixes this, but it isn't something that should need fixing in the first place.It's not perfect by any means. However, for the price. The quality and reliability are where it's needed to be. To get better, I would expect to pay double or significantly more for the features this lamp has.Best I can say is if this doesn't give you what you want, you are probably shopping at the wrong price point.

I assembled the lamp on the stand. It is very sturdy and stable. I am not stretching the mechanism to the far lengths of its reach. The on/off and light adjustment controls work great. I will use this for detailed work such as wood carving, wiring, etc. I did not buy this to use for reading. I was concerned that a 10X magnifying lamp would be too much for my purposes. It is not. The view through the lens does not appear as enlarged as I thought it might be, but it is none-the-less an excellent scale for the intended use. I am glad I choses this level of magnification.

I love the dimming feature of this lamp I work for hours under this light and there isn’t anything I don’t like about it.

Gotten older and my eyes are not what they used to be. This was meant to address that, but I have found I truly love the ability to adjust color balance. It really makes a huge difference. The magnifier is great. I use reader glasses while painting and found they increase the magnification of the unit when used together. Only con I have is I'm not always able to get the arm where I want it, but easily fixed by moving my chair a little. For the price, hard to beat.

Pros. Base is heavy to support light. Controls are on the light not on the cord. Dimmable.Cons. I see double looking through the magnifying glass. I've tried looking through at diffrent angles and heights. If I close one eye. It works well. But I can't craft having to close one eye.

I ended up getting this stand because it was rated highly and it holds up to the reputation! I really enjoy all the different lights and brightness you can chose from. The only issue I have with the product is the C-clamp mount, it doesn’t feel super secure, it could honestly have a larger pad or something to insure stability and a good grab. Other than that, I am truly happy I made this purchase!

I need the base that I paid for that comes with the lamp. Very disappointed I wrote about this yesterday and I haven’t had a response so at this point I spent $115 on a light that is useless to me.Please get back to me.
