There are several things I love about this cat litter. Odour control is brilliant, I have 2 cats and 4 litter trays, one cat is an indoor girl and the other goes out for short walks. There is no smell from the trays. I really do have to look to see if there us a job in there to clear up. Liquid is absorbed immediately, but scoop that out as soon as you can because it can get quite solid. Both cats took to it straight away. But to me the most important benefit is NO DUST. Really nothing. I used to have to dust the furniture where the trays are after every use and when I refilled the trays. I worried that this dust on my furniture was also making its way in to my girls lungs that can't be good for them. I can't recommend this more highly.

So my cat has this weird habit to poop in 2 or 3 sessions (a couple of minutes break in between). I went to the vet, they said it's his quirk (whatever that means).The problem is if you don't take the first one in time he will poop next to the litter. However, for some reason with this one he does not do that. Don't know why or how, but for me that's enough to know it gets 5 starts.Now, when he pees, the sand creates clumps, but a lot of the time creates a clay thing that sticks to the littler and it's a little bit annoying to remove.The smell is alright, covers his pee so that works. Also, it covers his poop as well (when is under it)For absorbance, cannot say is the best, fairly mediocre (either that or my cat pees a lot). It usually takes me 1 bag per month for a 6kg Bengal.

As far as cat litter goes this is the best I've brought. It absorbes the pee really well and naked it's easy to remove without without emptying the whole tray. The whole bag lasts at least a month for my one cat so less buying! The scent is really nice too. It masks the cat smells really well and while cleaning out the tray there is definitely less cat wee smell bashing my nostrils in.

I usually use a crystal cat litter however my nearest store is a few miles away, I got thos as a back up. I use the crystals I have 6 cats in and out door but they tray can be used over night. With my usual litter you cannot smell urine at all, it 1 large litter tray lasts about 2weeks with only poo picking. I was lookong forward to trying this litter as it was a fine clumping litter. I used it on the first night, I got up to a horrible smell not cat pee but a horrible smell coming from my tray I picked out all the poo&pee clumps lovey into wee balls all scoops up nicely, but if your cats like digging to China like mine do then trying to scoop this off the bottom of the tray is absolutely awful, if need a jack hammer, this tray lasted me one over night, it was just a horrible litter smell I couldn't keep it as I hate a smelly cat try. So don't waste your money crystal litter is 100 times better and doesn't leave any smells

I have a very fussy cat. My other 2 cats use catsan but she refuses. Cue the hunt to find her favourite litter, we’ve tried wood pellets but she wouldn’t even stand on them, tried ‘cats best’ litter but I found it had terrible odour control, she liked ‘clean paws’ clumping litter but ironically I found its the worst for tracking and left clay paw prints throughout the house.Sanicat litter is a winner, clumps well, doesn’t cover paws and smells nice too. I wanted the scentless sanicat but it was out of stock so purchased ‘baby powder’ scent instead, I was worried that she’d find the smell overpowering but it hasn’t fazed her.
