This is my second ceramic knife. Love how easy they are to use. I must say though, because they are ceramic obviously if you think about it, they are not as strong as a stainless steel knife. But because I like how it cuts, slices, chops I bought another one, actually 2. My daughter is the one that broke my original one, how, I couldn’t tell you. She’d still in the rookie stage of cooking. I had that previous knife for quite some time, until she used it. I tend to be the one that takes care of my things & know how to use things properly. You do have to use a little common sense on what you’re using the knife for. But once you get use to it. I’d guess you’ll like it too. My daughter did really liked how it was working before it broke that’s why I bought her one of her own. I must add that she does have a deficit on her left side that could have contributed to how it broke. My post may seem like ceramic knives take much to think about when using it, but not really. I’m just trying to offer advice from my experience using them.Anyway, that broken knife did not go to waste. I’ll add another little tip here, the top side is now what I use to sharpen all my stainless steel knives. It works like a charm ;). I didn’t know this before, until I decided to try it, because i used my other stainless steel knives to do the sharpening. I’ve never had good luck with those knife sharpeners they sell.So, so far my experience using a ceramic knives has been good. And the price for this one worked for me. There are more expensive options, but if you want to see if you like using one, I would suggest trying this one. Hoping this review is helpfulGOOD LUCK!

Like everything about this knife! Use it for all food prep. Be careful. It is, as advertised, sharp…cuts like cutting through butter.

Just what I needed

I love this ceramic knife. Right size, right weight, good feel, quite sharp. Even dishwasher safe. Love the cover. After a few years, though, it dulls, and you can't do anything about it and it gets dangerous. You also can't use the flat of the blade to crush anything without risking breakage. So real cooks will probably stick with steel knives. But I still like this one.

And have several in many colours and sizes. The reality is, as great as they are for their sharpness and enhanced cutting, they chip often. The cons are that they chip and you could end up with that chipped piece in you salad dinner food. A little pricey.

This knife is so sharp I immediately cut myself with it. The blade doesn't dull. Easy grip. Will slice tomatoes with ease.
