Not just for plumbing 😀 I purchased this solar vent to install on the roof of my enclosed 6' x 12' utility trailer - Works great! - Not fast but steady - vents excess heat out - Would probably work good for venting a utility shed etc.. 5 Stars

I have a small, off grid cabin with a Nature's Head composting toilet. The toilet came with a battery/ac adapter operated fan. Since the cabin does not have electricity, I mounted this to the outside of the cabin covering the toilet vent. It's been installed for about a month and a half and works perfectly. It is completely silent which can be concerning when I want to make sure it still works. I have to pull the hose off and feel for the air flow. So far, so good. There is no odor from the toilet, particularly during the day while the fan is running. It does not seem to store energy to continue running at night. So I do keep a battery on hand in case we need it. I was worried about this being so much less expensive than other solar fans, but I am very pleased with our off-grid solution so far.

Works great. Put it on an out house

The fan works great for what I use it for... I installed it on top of my dog’s house to cool it down in the summer. This is my second one. They last pretty well, couple years, but the plastic deteriorated and cracked apart in constant sun exposure.

Bought in March, Item failed within 3 months of installation, contacted company and they said they would send out a replacement when they got a shipment in October. They sent it out via UPS which wanted to collect over $28 in duty so I refused shipment and contacted company. A warranty replacement that I bought in Canada from Amazon Canada should not require duty equal to half the cost of the product. Although the company was good to get back to me right away when I first had the problem they now won't reply to my emails asking for a solution to the problem. I guess I'm stuck with a dead product with a one year warranty that is useless. DO NOT BUY, the product is poorly designed and leaks into the motor so it seizes up and dies and the one year warranty is useless if you can't get it replaced for free.
