Q: Must polyurethane be completely stripped before application?

I doubt it as long as you have prepped the surface so that the exposure can bind to it. Basically it needs to be clean from grease/contamination and sanded to a rough or medium grit.

Q: Is this product UV resistant?

I Used this normally excellent product on the backside of a small topside mailbox nameplate that was about 4” x 12. One side faced east which survived due to partial shade, but the west side which was more exposed to full sun ultimately peeled off.

Q: Would this one or 206 work for plastic kayak hole repair?

I fixed a split in an Old Town canoe. The engineers at Gougeon Brothers recommended the G/Flex 655 kit. I followed the directions and it has worked great.

Q: Can you use fiberglass mesh with this product i have to do the underside of an rv slide out

Yes, This epoxy works well with fiberglass.
