Very quiet and smooth. The light disappoints somewhat.
I’ve installed a number of garage door openers in the past so I found the installation fairly straight forward just using the enclosed installation manual. However, the built in LED light didn’t work. In looking through the manual under ‘troubleshooting’ the instructions for addressing this were not at all detailed (see the photo). In looking at the opener it’s not at all obvious either as to what needs to be done “to remove the cover”. I reached out to Chamberlain customer support and they were very helpful. They ended up sending me a new light assembly (which encompasses most of the bottom of the unit, see photos). Included with the new light were more detailed instructions on how to remove the old light assembly. After taking out the screws and lowering the old light assemble, the wire connection came apart – clearly they weren’t connected tightly in assembly. Connecting the wires fixed the issue and I have an extra LED light if the original fails.By the way – if you need more detailed instructions on removing the light assembly do a Google search on the part number: 041-0203-000. From there, click on the chamberlain link to the part, which has a link to the instructions. As to how the opener works:I love it. It’s very quiet and works very smoothly. The MyQ app was fairly easy to setup and works well. The light though is somewhat underwhelming, at least in my specific situation, in that it shines on the back wall of the garage. My door to the house is on the side wall, more towards the front of the garage, so there’s not a lot of light that shines on it. I think having an adjustable light (one that could be pointed to where you want it) would be ideal. In the end, I’ll give this 4 stars: Great mechanicals, very smooth and quiet but the light is a bit of a disappointment.Edit: I was able to rotate the light 180 degrees and have it point to the garage door, thus better light the entrance to my house. See the last picture. Much improved, will up to 5 stars. Chamberlain should outline the steps for this in their manual!

Great opener
I sell and install garage openers. Love Chamberlain, especially B4603T unit. LED light, 2 rremotes, keypad and nice wall console with photocell activated light are great features. 3/4 hp is overkill but belt-drive is so quiet! Warranty is terrific.

Excellent video to support self assembly
Replaced a 17 year old Craftsman unit. The BILT app has 3D video showing each step including safety instructions. Since I had a Craftsman, the wall and ceiling brackets all lined up making replacement a breeze. The powerful 3/4 HP motor and belt drive replaced a chain and 1/2 HP. The sound is so much quieter and the unit slows down as it reaches the floor- unlike the old unit which slammed at times. Tip- watch the video a few steps ahead and use rotating features on app to see if left for your assembly is left on your parts. If you mess up plugged in metal bars, you can bend all the tabs that locked a fitting together to pull out a bar. Definitely helps to have two people raise the unit into place. Instructions say you can place unit on a ladder, but a person is better. I used bungee cords to help suspend the unit from ceiling just in case it slipped. Great unit. My Q install was quick so you can monitor doors from cell phone. Ever wonder if you closed a door? This eliminates the stress.

They've upped the game with these
Medium difficulty on the install. Works great, especially like how it will adjust itself when you go into that mode. Super quiet. Love the app. I bought this brand cuz I've owned half a dozen over the years and the one I replaced with this unit lived for 23 years.

Two ways to install. One easy, one NOT.
My old opener was 35 years old but still worked.I wanted to update a noisy, worn out opener AND add Garage door status reporting and control.Bought the B4603T a basic opener with MyQ status reporting and control. It arrived in good shape but without any printed installation instructions so I printed it off their support website. It tries to be complete, but when it came to connecting to the remote door opener, what should have been simple was not.First, you set up a PIN so the opener and the remote openers know how to talk to one another securely. Second, you set up the door to stop at the top and bottom of it's travel. Third, you use the remote opener to run it up and down, and fourth, put a 2x4 in its way to see that it reverses properly. PROBLEM: not entirely clear about WHAT you should do and WHY it worked the way it does. I was able to do steps 1, 2 and 4 but not 3 correctly because it is not explained well. as a result, door would not move AT ALL. Not an inch! My cars spent several days in the driveway over a long weekend which is tough on carrying groceries in and staying out of the rain.By the end of the weekend, I was considering uninstalling it and reinstalling the old one. GLAD I DIDN'T.Solution: Wait for normal work hours and CALL them on their support line! The lady there had me up and running in under 5 minutes. Alternatives are to reread the defective instructions, check the troubleshooting documentation, go on "Chat" with an artificial intelligence robot [what a misnomer], check YouTube for troubleshooting videos, and/or read a series of "tips" on what could be wrong. I have DONE all the above, and ONLY calling the support line worked.Folks, putting in a new garage door opener is possible, but not particularly fun. I spent one 4 hour day getting it physically installed. Much of that time was reading each tedious step which is really important but TEDIOUS. I spent an additions 1-2 hours on both the second and third days trying and failing to get the garage door go up and down. Or even just Down. SAVE THAT TIME and call support and have someone talk you through it for 5 minutes. A PIECE OF CAKE that way.I love the MyQ feature, I love having it on my smart phone, and I love having it all integrated with my Ring home security system, all that was done EASILY. I can OPEN or CLOSE it from ANYWHERE!WHY I LOVE MYQ: I can open the garage for the kids from wherever I am, and I can make sure it closed if I'm not certain. It will alert me when it opens and closes WHEREVER I AM. Perfect piece of mind. Did you know your garage door is a FREQUENT TARGET for thieves? Once in the garage, a thief can expect an unlocked door into the house. MyQ tells me instantly if it is opened while I am away.

Quiet!
Works well, fairly straightforward to install but honestly not sure how much better the app-based instructions are vs. ye olde paper manual.
