UbiQuiti USW-Flex-MINI

Works great, just confused why this thing gets its own LAN IP on my network. At first I thought it was the IP for the first device connected to it, but all of those have their own different unique IP addresses. Why does this get its own unique address? It's unmanaged. So weird.

It's nice to have a small no hassle managed switch. Effectively plug & play, being powered over poe is a nice bonus.

Great unit. It is easy to adapt with their firewall and allows you to control each ports traffic through their app. Small design makes it easily hidden as well.

I’ve been using this port switch for a few months now, and it’s been absolutely flawless. The build quality is outstanding—it feels durable and well-made, so I’m confident it will last for years to come.What really stands out is the performance. There’s been zero connectivity issues and no speed reduction with my Express, even when managing multiple devices. It’s fast, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to without any hiccups.

Great little switch, that does port isolation, VLAN support, very low power draw, and power supply via PoE on the uplink port.Taking one star away because out of the box the switch was not discoverable by the unifi controller and had to do a slightly annoying factory reset procedure to get it adopted.

I have a UDM and needed a smart switch in my office. I wanted to make sure I could control the VLANs for each port, and I knew a dumb linksys switch wasn’t going to do it. I was surprised how reasonably priced this was, and it has had 0 issues since installing it last year.

Fantastic add-on to any home Ubiquiti system. Integrating fully with their web app is all I needed.

I can’t believe this is such a niche product, I couldn’t find a single other company that makes an affordable POE powered basic switch. I dropped down CAT6 to a keystone in my living room so I could hardwire the consoles and TV to ethernet. I initially was going to get a standard switch but I had an extra POE port available on my main switch so I figured I’d just use that to power one and not have to waste an outlet. This is the only reputable one I could find and it’s awesome. Plug and play and only pulls like 3W to run. Now all of my media center gear is hardwired, streaming videos and downloading games is lightyears faster than over wifi in my congested townhome complex.
