Q: Will it fit a small 7 month old cockatiel?

Depends on the size of your cockatiel. My male is pretty standard sized, almost 2 years old. It fits all but not very comfortably. Despite owning it for a while he's never grown accustomed to this specific suit.

Q: How can i get my bird used to it? She freaks out when we put it on.

Advice- don’t force it on! Slow steps.. get your buddy used to be around it! Then slowly put it on, if they freak out too much or if you force it they’ll never trust it. Try putting it on his head then giving treats. It’s a Slow process. Involve lots of love &’ treats!

Q: Well it fit a Quaker?

No. Green Cheeks ribcage is on par with a cockatiel. Quakers, Dusky, and Sun Conures wouldn't fit. Don't even think about a Pionus :)
