I used a version like this for 3 years it was one with the whole backing and the turntable ring for my old I pad 2. I like the multi stand a lot and missed it a lot when I got my I pad pro. The view is able to generate many angles rather than just the limited view of the horrible case cover I have which is a finite( like the design but cover is so so) well the aidata fits fine over the case. It is short on grabbing the I pad itself but is secure around the case. This device makes your i pad heavier. It is for setting down and main function is adjusting viewing angle. Which wether I'm in the bathtub, or propped up folding laundry somewhere or videotaping my Green smoothie show, I can angle it perfectly. Which you cannot do without and I haven't found any other alternative out there that you can adjust the angle to such a great extent. I'm pleased wth this because I do read a lot and can prop it on my lap easily. Also I may rather enjoy the removable aspects to change it on my kindle also if I wanted. (Yes I know why would I want kindle too. Well if I am reading a book, I want something the size of a book, not a magazine.) the price is right for me too very reasonable.Pros: adjustable angle, price, removability easily. Rotates 360 vertical and horizontal.Cons: adds more weight, some of the plastic seems a bit cheap and I hope will not bust.

I'm an illustrator and heavy Ipad Pro user and this stand is perfect for me. I often have to carry the Ipad around with one hand while using the Apple Pencil with the other and I just can't imagine using the Ipad without the hand holder. It makes it bulkier, but it's worth it. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to stand very firm when I'm drawing while the Ipad is on a table. The handle moves and the Ipad wobbles. I use my Surface Book in tablet mode A LOT. I wanted a stand that also works as a handle when I'm painting and turning it every which way. This device holds my Book very securely without marring the edges or messing with the decal I have on the top. The springs are very tight.

It is extremely versatile on my 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9” tablet. Easy to apply and remove and fully articulated for a a comfortable adjustment every time. Great price too!

I have a full Aidata case for iPad 2, and it has worked very well. So when I find this model. I was very happy and immediately ordered one. It works ok, but the back seems to be poorly made and rattles at the junction. This is not the case with our original one. I hope this is a defect rather than norm.

I use the iPad to draw and paint, and I purchased this product because I also have their tripod for iPad. Both of these are well made and work smoothly, providing a solid base to work with.

Not suitable for Lenovo yoga tab3.

It's pretty good for iPad pro stand. Pretty Versatile. I wish the rotating part was more sturdy and click at exact 90 degrees. It's a bit off, and the holding power is getting weaker.
