The specs on this product are a lie. While it works fine as a dual usb charger, its stated at 4.2amp, up to 2.1amp's on each port. However, when two things are plugged in, the amps lowered on each port down to almost 1amp. I bought this one specifically because its labeled at a 4.2amp charger. but that is a lie. I tested it with a drok usb tester. The first pic is only 1 port charging, putting out 2.05amp, then as soon as I plug into the second port it drops down to 1.3amps as you can see in the second pic. The item i plugged in only draws 1 amp so the unit is only putting out 2.3amps total. Then finally I plugged the same two items into another similar charger rated at 2.4 amps and got a faster charge at 1.4amps even though its rated lower. I compared this charger to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013US9FFY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which has more accurate specs.

Wall charger makes a high pitch squeal while charging any device - happens with my iPhone and iPad. I have two of these wall chargers and they both do it. Tried different circuits and the same result. As it stands, I wouldn't suggest buying.*edit: Updated my review as the rating was a bit harsh ass the product does charge fine. The seller worked with me to see if they could resolve the issue; may have been a bad batch. The charger works but I still notice a high pitched sound when the room is quiet. Will see if the new item that it sent has resolved the problem

Initially I gave this a 5 stars but one of the four that I have is making weird sparking/crackling noises now which is quite alarming. After it starts making these noises my phone will then stop charging proving that there is something disrupting the electrical flow

These are handy in that you can plug 2 USB devices into 1 electrical outlet. I've had several for a few months.They are supposedly fast charging though I do not depend on or need that (overnight works usually for my schedule), so I can't comment on that.The problem with them is they are too fat to put side by side on a power strip. You have to have an empty outlet between them. To be fair I have not found another device with a small enough footprint that will let you plug in 2 USB devices but only take up 1 outlet on a power strip. (At least have not found one with good reviews / decently made.)If you skip an outlet on the power strip you can then plug in a narrow plug (like a lamp) into the empty outlet in the middle.

Works as advertised, feels solid and definitely does the job as described. Purchased two for my mother so she could have a plugin at her bedside and in her kitchen so there is always a reliable charger. Would easily recommend this product!

I purchased this charger for a raspberry pi that was sitting behind a wall mounted TV. The mount was covering part of the outlet so I had to get a compact charger which still drew 2+ amps. This has been working non-stop for a few months now, and fit like a charm behind the mount. It is slightly larger than an iPhone charger.

Very nice just to have if you have to charge 2 items at a time. I wish I didn't waste my time one the one plug charging usb ports I bought before, especially when you have limited outlets in you place. Also, I am not paid by these people. It has a better quality than the ones I picked up on a sales clerk counter for sure.
