Finally, Tofu Pressing Without the Mess!
I wish I had found this tofu press sooner! It’s super easy to use—pop in the tofu, clip it shut, and toss it in the fridge. No stacks of books, no soggy paper towels, and definitely no mess on the counter. I love that it presses evenly without cracking the tofu, and the adjustable settings are great for different block sizes. It even works well for gently draining silken tofu when I make sauces. The water collects neatly at the bottom, and cleanup is a breeze (dishwasher-safe is a win!). You can tell it’s made with quality materials, and the fact that it’s BPA-free and vegan-approved seals the deal. I highly recommend it to anyone who cooks tofu regularly—this thing takes all the hassle out of the process! The best part of this contraption is that the tofu flavor is 10x better than regular pressing.

Press and Go!
Ordered this product after being frustrated with the messiness of manually pressing tofu. Absolutely amazed how simple and effective this product is. I typically buy my tofu from Costco or BJs and worried the slightly larger size wouldn’t fit. It fit perfectly and I could not believe how much water was pressed out! If you prepare tofu often, run and get this press! It will save you time and cleanup over manual pressing!

cheap. simple, and saves so much space!
i wish we had gotten this sooner, it really makes pressing tofu and paneer so much easier! its inexpensive and works really well, although its a bit tricky at first to get used to setting the rubber bands with just one person. if you have mobility issues this probably isnt the product for you, since it takes a fair bit of strength to get both bands stretched and then pop them on at once. if you do one side first then the other, itll sort of squash your tofu on the one side, which isnt a huge deal but could make it crack if youre looking to get perfect cube cuts. you can keep adjusting the bands down as it presses, depending on how dense you want your end product.the biggest plus of this though, is how much space it saves in the fridge. the fact that its got a tray built in to catch the liquid is so nice! other presses still make you have to set something under them to catch the liquid, so unless you have the perfect sized plate, youre still taking up an odd amount of space in the fridge and worrying about it kocking off of it. our fridge is small, so its really great that this press means we can stick is wherever theres room and even stack it on top of something else without worrying about liquid running off.so far weve done both tofu and paneer. it fits a standard sized tofu block snugly, so the first little while of it pressing you probably want to stay on the loosest band until it compresses a bit. for paneer, we use a recipe for a whole gallon of milk, and it was just sliiiiightly too much for the press. it fit inside with a slight dome, so we just set the press part on top of it and stacked a can on top for a few minutes until it had drained and compressed enough to let us fit it on properly with the bands. its still so much better than how we used to make paneer though, and it shapes it really nicely so you get a perfect dense block of paneer for cubing/slicing.the only issue we have had is that in our firs tuse, when going to put tension on the bands, one slipped out of the sort of plastic tube/hinge its in (hard to describe, but you can see it if you look at the third picture of the listing where they close up on the handle and rubber band). it was easy enough to pop it back in, but it has me worried that as we use it the tension will cause the gap in the housing bit to eventually get wider and have the band slip out more easily. i think i mightve just been stretching it at an odd angle, but im going to keep an eye on it. honestly since it was only $23, im not too bothered about having to occasionally replace it since i know we will get a lot of use out of it.

Works well and is easy to use
It works well for extra firm tofu. I find it easy to use. Not quite as life changing as I had anticipated based on reviews. A solid product that I am happy with. Not completely sure I would purchase it again if it broke, but I will use it based on having it.

Saves time and labor preparing for tofu salads
Preparation of tofu for cold salads is made easy and fast with this gadget. After clarifying the tofu in simmering water, crumbled tofu can be loaded in the perforated compartment, rinsed and squeezed without the use of bolting cloth or paper towel. The resultant semi-dry tofu crumbles can then be combined with miso for shira-ae, hard-cooked eggs for egg-tofu salad, cheese, meat or fish. A boon to tofu fans, this is a real handy and inexpensive investment.

Worked exactly as described
This was my first attempt at removing water from tofu using a gadget. It worked great and the tofu was perfect for my recipe. Highly recommend this product. I used to use a cast iron skilled on top of the tofu to remove the water but sometimes it would damage the tofu. This gadget is easy to use.

Works great!
I didn't think a tofu press was needed when you can press it for free in kitchen towels - until I got one and now I think this is really worth the money. Easy, efficient, and no mess.

Works great every time and we've been using it for months.
This thing works great and is easy to use. Really takes the work and mess out of squeezing the water out of tofu. Just throw the tofu in, put the lid on, and pour it out occasionally. Its made of thick plastic and as the thick durable rubber part to apply the pressure to the tofu. We've been using it for months with no issues. I will say since its 3 parts it does take up more room in the dishwasher. But the time it saves us cooking, quality it provides to the tofu, and easy of use is worth it.
