Handy Dandy Tool!
Easy to use and get the hang of! The design of this knife is super sharp and clean - lots of intricate details for the price, adding to the experience. And who knows, maybe the glass/window breaker will come in handy one day!Opening is simple - just flick the tab down, then it's ready for use.On the other end, closing it - you have to pull the ridges to the side as a little safety feature, then carefully push the blade back into its original position (I do this with one hand).I also love that it has a latch attached for resting it on your pocket for easy and convenient accessibility whenever needed for use. Speaking of accessibility, the size of this blade (when folded) easily fits in any pocket and hasn't weighed me down at all. It also perfectly fits in my hand. Now for use: this is very multi-functional, ranging from self-defense to cutting lemons (what I do!). The grip on this is very grippy, if that makes sense, also comfortable (doesn't hurt when holding tightly or for an extended period of time). Could slice, dice, and cut from a variety of angles, remaining equally functional, durable, and withstanding from each. And besides, just having this makes me feel more comfortable and secure! When I go on my late night city walks alone, I feel stress-free and not feeling the need to look over my shoulder every 5 seconds or so! But yeah, for the price, this should for sure be an item you possess and it'll last a life time, just don't come up with crazy ideas for a stress-test!Another perk is that the blade itself is under 4 inch's, meaning in Florida (may be different for your state (look up the laws)), you don't need a permit to carry. You hear this often, but this is definitely a true "must buy", especially under these conditions:- In a state with much crime.- Live near a city or highly populated area.- Are concerned with safety.- Worried about going out (anxious or unsure).- Need a sharp household object that can cut a variety of things (tool in the shed), even for kitchen use!- Like being protected / safe / secure at all times.- Have a niche for bad-assery / cool designs (wood w/ silver is so cool).I've tested the sharpness, and although it's sharp, it could definitely be sharper with a sharpener if needed (for typical use this is not required or even close to needing what-so-ever).If you got this far, congrats! I think you'll enjoy your choice as much as I do!

Mixed feelings about this particular item
Giving very high rating ... but be sure you want this. There can be no question about the quality offered, especially for the very attractive pricing. It apparently comes in 2 sizes - small and large, and I ordered the large, mainly because I thought I wanted a bit longer blade. And it indeed is a large. weighty product. I thought I probably didn't want anything like a quick release button - that it might release too easily. But the release is well made, and the release is smooth. What it is is an impressive product at a very impressive price. But it isn't dainty, and it is kind of "big", and definitely weighty. Yes, it's an impressive product, but be sure you want what it is, a big, heavier product with a kind of "attitude" about it!

I have to say, I'm impressed
When I was shopping for a cheap common carry pocket knife, I wasn't expecting to get the deal of a lifetime. I know you usually get what you pay for. But for (basically) a $10 knife, I have to say I'm a little impressed. This knife is a little bigger than I was expecting it to be. I read the measurements ahead of time, but figured for 10 bucks, that maybe it was slightly overstated a bit in the ad. I'm telling you, it's really not. And it's heavy! Much more than I had imagined. I have a little 1.5" locking blade aluminum handle knife that I used to carry/use just to keep from tearing up my good one (passed down from my father in law), so I wasn't expecting much.I have a vintage stockman pocket knife that I carry everywhere, every day; but it's sometimes a little small in my hand (I'm 5'10", 260 lbs; and I've got really big hands). This knife is proportional to my hands, and has a good substantial (almost hefty) feel in my hand. It's not flimsy, and I don't think I'm going to be pensive, worried it's going to break if I'm a little rough with it.It came with an OK edge from the factory, and for a novice it would do fine for at least a little while.I touched it up on my whetstone, and gave it a little better edge (sharpness) in about 5 minutes. I could spend some time, and work it into a rather fine edge, but I'm not sure that it would be worth the effort considering I'm not sure how long it would retain that edge. Again, for $10, I can't complain. The handle is actually pretty nicely done, as I was a little unsure of how I would like the reddish wood finished handle, matched up to the black (I guess "tactical" is the buzzword these days) design of the blade and hilt. Now that I have the knife in hand, I think its actually a pretty decent matchup. The spring assisted blade is OK; it works kinda. Again, I've got pretty big hands, so it isn't any big deal that the blade kinda drags a little halfway through the opening flip (my fingers are strong enough to push on through the little resistance midway through the arc).Overall, I think it's a pretty decent knife for $10, and one that I can use, be rough with it, and not worry that I'm going to damage an expensive knife that I had invested in.I'm pleased with the purchase.

Bang for the buck
Nice knife for the money, opens easy, some of the wooden pieces on the handle don’t line up, but it is really sharp, seems to feel durable, locks nice.

One of my most favorite purchases!
I've been so impressed with this knife I have purchased it three times over several months! It is well made, sharp and easy to open and close and it stays put when it's open. I love the look and size of the it fits my hand great. Though it is on the heavy side and could be an issue as I get older, I wouldn't want it changed. Highly recommend!!!

Equal to my Gerber in quality.
Well built and high quality for the price. I really can't believe they can build these and make a profit. Comparred to my Gerber's they are just as well built and constructed. This is a solid knife.
