Works great and dimmable
Working great with my Lutrcon Cassetta Diva switch. Great control and dimable.

Excellent performance in older under-counter halogen fixtures.
After several months of use in older under-counter fixtures designed for equivalent size halogen bulbs, they're still working great. My fixtures have a three-step dimming feature and these bulbs perform fine with that. These LED bulbs have chips mounting on a single-side which are perfect for downward illumination in under-counter fixtures, as they produce less heat and direct all the light downward.

Work well. No flicker at all!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased these to replace 20W G8 halogen bulbs in under-cabinet light fixtures. I also tried a couple of other brands of LED as well, some from Amazon and some purchased locally. Unfortunately those all flickered terribly. I'm happy to say that these DiCUNO LEDs do not flicker AT ALL!! Note that they have a large capacitor on the circuit board (it's the large black component in the pictures, and it's colored yellow on the LED bulbs I received), and that is used to smooth out the AC voltage and prevent flicker. It works so well that the DiCUNO LEDs actually flicker LESS than halogens! Yes, you read that correctly. LESS flicker than halogen bulbs. I didn't think that was possible. Check out the attached slo-mo video. This is in a fixture that has a HIGH and LOW setting, and this is on LOW (which makes flicker worse, even with halogen bulbs). Note that the DiCUNO LED on the right is rock solid, and there is a tiny amount of flicker from the halogen on the left. Kudos to DiCUNO for adding a big capacitor to the design and eliminating flicker completely.I have only had these for a short time, so I don't know how long they will last. They should last many years, but time will tell. They look well built, and as expected they run much, much cooler than halogen bulbs. The leads are slightly longer than the halogen bulbs they replaced, so they may not fully seat in some light fixtures. They did not seat completely flush in one of my light fixtures, so I trimmed the excess lead length with wire cutters and now they seat perfectly. The color of the light (2700K) is close to that produced by halogen bulbs, but does have a very slight greenish tint to it. It's not noticeable unless you compare side-by-side. This is a pretty common occurrence with 2700K LED bulbs -- the light is often a little less red than with incandescent/halogen bulbs. Again, the difference is very subtle.Overall I'm very happy with these and I'll be buying more to use in all of my G8 light fixtures. I'm especially happy to see that these LEDs do not flicker at all, since that is a problem with most LEDs on the market -- especially the smaller bulb sizes. Unfortunately my eyes are very sensitive to flicker. Many people don't see it at all. (Consider yourself lucky in that case!) But if flickering LEDs bother you -- buy these.

Very bright!
Easy change in Samsung above oven microwave. Very bright. The lights are dimmable but not by a lot. Low setting is still very bright and it's not obvious when the lights are on low setting unless you cycle through the settings. If you want a dim light you may be disappointed. If you want a bright clean light, these bulbs are awesome.

Still brilliant after 6 months
I loved these immediately but have waited 6 months to write the review just in case they didn't hold up (they did). These are absolutely amazing considering all the bulbs I tried to get here (most bulbs were much more expensive). I use them under my kitchen cabinets where halogen bulbs used to be. These are warm (I love warm lights), their bright (slightly dimmable). I'm hoping these will be around forever.

Works with some adjustments to color temperature
These work well, run cool and are dimmable without flicker. I purchased the 2700K version which to me appear cooler, perhaps closer to 3300K. The claimed CRI of 85 is hard to gage but might be closer to 80 - low in any case. I used Orange Color Gel sheet 1/4 CTO taped behind the built-in glass diffuser of the existing fixture. The dimmer I'm using is Lutron DVCL-153PR and the high/low switch on each fixture set to high. My goal was to get as close to the color temperature and brightness of the original halogen bulb but with the benefits of LED. I feel with the dimmer and 1/4 CTO I was able to get pretty close. In the photo, the left fixture is the DiCUNO G8 2700K (behind the glass diffuser) and on the right is the DiCUNO G8 2700K with the 1/4 CTO correction film. They've been installed for a week so far without any issues.

Failed after three weeks, failed after four months, failed after one month
I had high hopes for this bulb, as the previous one from a different vendor had literally melted. This one lasted for three weeks after installation. It was an improvement in that it just stopped working and didn't melt. While it worked, it worked fine, provided the warm light advertised, and was dimmable. Deducting one star for the failed lamp. We'll see how long the replacement lasts. Update: the replacement lasted just under 4 months. Better, but not good enough. Deducting another star. Next one lasted about a month. There goes another star. Next one lasted at most three weeks. Running out of stars to deduct.
