I built a 40A 12v power supply and this shows the output very well. My reservation is to whether the cable terminals can handle the higher currents. There is a 100A version and that would have me very worried about the screws overheating.

It doesn't have an internal Shunt as advertised for lower currents.External higher current shunt was needed to be added to the circuit to monitor current correctly.

This is a nice looking meter assembly, and would seem to be ideal for general purpose voltage and current monitoring. HOWEVER - the accuracy is really really bad. The voltage measurement is non-liner to some degree, and is just about passable. The adjustment was able to set the voltage. BUT only at that one point. The current is well out. This was for a 50A unit with shunt. at 5A it was reading 0.5A high, at 10 A this error had gone up to 0.9A The current adjustment was not able to bring the reading into range.There is a reset option if you look on the web, but this made little difference.Pity as these units would do a useful job otherwise.Only use with extreme caution.

This product gives false readings for both voltage and amperage. I followed the instructions for calibrating it such as they were and one of the potentiometers broke. It's now in the bin.

I bought this item on the 31st July 2022. It stopped working on the 15th September 2022.

This item is working above my expectations, I really abused from it and still works as it should, very happy with it

I use it with a battery source

The unit I received has only two wires no yellow wire- I send it back and I requested one like is showing in the picture(with the 3 wires, Black, red and yellow, but I received the unit missing the yellow wire again- the instructions also showing the yellow wire connection - I bought another unit and will keep this on in the shelf
