Cute Travel Digital Camera
Bought this camera for a simple camera to use while traveling when I didn't want to take my huge Panasonic camera but still wanted a camera that wasn't on my phone, for safety purposes and also the anxiety of possibly losing or dropping my phone (either off high places, overboard, etc.). Many people say that it isn't worth it, and with the development of quality in phone cameras, why even bother buying a digital one that provides less quality photos than that of your phone, that almost everyone has and carries with them at all times? I personally like having a compact, portable camera that is less of an investment than an expensive smart phone in the case it gets stolen, dropped, damaged, etc. This in itself is an appeal for me to purchase a digital camera to use instead of my iPhone. It was a great alternative to my phone, allowing me to keep my phone tucked away in a pocket or a bag, while still being able to take photographs while on my trips. I really liked the red color offered, as I try to buy everything red. The camera itself is compact and portable, it was super easy to conceal and travel with, adding little weight to my travel bags. The camera is very easy to use, allowing different shooting settings, zoom, and even video recordings. The battery lasts quite a while too, but I bought secondary batteries just in case. I also really appreciate the fact the camera utilizes a rechargeable battery, so you can charge it on trips when you have a break and you don't have to be constantly carrying a set of AAs. The picture quality itself is high, in my personal opinion, really good for the price that you're paying and the compactness of the camera. The video quality could be better, but is decent for the size and price of the camera. If you're zooming in a lot, the video quality is obviously compensated, and the audio quality in videos isn't the best, but. You get what you pay for, and in this case, you actually get better. It's well worth the money, providing video-recording abilities and high quality photographs. I highly recommend this camera for anybody looking for a camera for the same purposes as I. It's well worth the money and has exceeded my expectations in performance. It would also be a great starter camera for someone looking for a simple point-and-shoot camera, or for adolescents looking to get into the camera/photography community. Obviously if you're a professional photographer, I wouldn't recommend this camera, but I doubt anybody professional is looking to take high-quality, professional photographs with a simple point-and-shoot camera. For the price, quality, and performance, this camera is well worth the money, and I highly recommend it!(:

A Tale of Two Cameras...
After reading great reviews on this camera online I went searching for one locally without any luck. We live on the Florida coast and tourists snatch them up as fast as they come in. Anyway, I saw what looked like a similar camera at Target and bought the Vivitar VES 529 for $90. Mistake! It wouldn't capture an image, the wrist strap too over an hour of fiddling to attach, the SD card fit so deep in the camera I had to use tweezers to insert and remove it, the instructions were in undecipherable gibberish and woefully incomplete, the zoom was ratchety and the lens wobbly, the viewfinder image fuzzy, and it didn't come with an AC adapter. The case was a little vinyl bag. Overall, an incredibly cheap piece of trash that's going back to Target. By the way, Vivitar's customer service is pathetic. Then I ordered this little Kodak from Amazon, without actually being able to see it first.. Right out of the box, it was a much more substantial feeling camera, the viewfinder image was clear, the video mode worked, it had an AC adapter, and the battery and SD card were easy to insert. Downloading is also simple. It's just a joy to use and feels much more substantial. It's very compact, like the Vivitar, but they are otherwise worlds apart in quality and ease of use.ANYONE wanting a compact, capable point and shoot camera won't do much better than this. Even at $30 more then the Vivitar, this is a far better buy.

Good lil camper if you on a budget
So this camera is not too pricey this one do get the job done picture quality actually is not too bad it ain’t like a crazy clear like them expensive ones but it look nice enough especially in good good light took some pic outside n they came out lookin real cute color pop n stuff zoom kinda decent too but if you zoom all the way in it gets a lil blurry sometimes just gotta keep that in mind menus isn’t that hard to figure out just got to mess around with filters a bit to see what you like battery last aight not super long but enough for a day trip or something size is decent can be put a bag without taking up a lot of space but otherwise I love that I got it and it’s worth it

AMAZING!!!
I bought this camera because I really wanted a digital one that wasn't $800+. I hard bought digital cameras on amazon before and they were always terrible quality so I was skeptical. However OMG this is the best camera I have ever used for the price wow. I would wait for a price drop because every so often the price drops so I would wait and not pay the $180. I take the camera with me everywhere and it takes the cutest pictures and it elevates your instagram. The only settings I have in it are force flash and the vivid filter which makes you look so tan. You can play around with the settings and filters but I would always recommend force flash it really elevates the photos. it is also pretty compact and a good size. Ive never videos on it so I dont know anything about that but for photos I recommend you just need to buy an SD card separate and an adapter to download the photos onto your phone or laptop. I would so recommend 1000/10!!
