Set it up through WiFi
The written instructions are bad. This clock has a built in WiFi SSID network. Use your phone, connect to that, then you can set the clock to connect to your home WiFi network. Then it can connect over the Internet and get the current time. Connecting via phone to the clock is really just for setting it up.By default the setup web page is in Chinese, click the tiny button in the upper right corner that says English. Then you can change the color patterns, rainbow, flow, or set each digit individually to its own color, and adjust the overall brightness.

And look, instructions
It's a good compromise on the original Nixie tubes, it's an LED with clear plates that "simulates" the nixie tube look of the numbers. The instructions are ABSOLUTELY necessary, as my unit is an older unit without the WIFI.When looking at the buttons:Button Closest to the USB connection: Mode ButtonNext Button to the right : TimeNext Button to the right : Down ArrowNext Button to the right: Up ArrowThe buttons do slightly different things based on the mode. There are basically 4 modes, all the numbers light up to the same number based on the mode selected. You can select each mode by hitting the MODE button. 1-4 are different effects. By selecting mode #5 or #6, it "turns on" animation features that are present in all modes (1-4). To turn off the animation feature, you have to hit MODE button to cycle through back to mode #5 or #6 again. Mode 7 is just a test mode that cycles through all the colors and all the numbers. Mode ! is for custom color setting.PUSH and HOLD MENU button, you enter MODE 1 which is a custom color mode. You can set the color of each number. use the Up/Down arrows to change colors. Hint, once you have a color selected in the first number, by hitting the mode button to go to the second color, the second number will automatically be set to the same color. You can set the color of each number individually if you want.Hit the TIME button once, it brings up a "timer" feature where you can set a timer. Use the arrows to change the duration and hit the TIME button again to start the countdown. Hit the TIME button again to exit TIMER.Push and HOLD time button, the lights will turn blue and you can set current time using the arrows. Start with hours, then hit TIME button again to go to MINUTES and again for SECONDS. After setting seconds, the clock will change to RED colors. You are now in the ALARM mode. You can use the up/down arrows to set an alarm time. Setting the numbers to all 0 with de-activate the alarm. Push TIME button again to go through HOURS, MINUTES, SECONDS and then the clock will exit back to normal clock mode.Push and hold DOWN arrow to change 12/24 format.Push Up Arrow to cycle through brightness, on mine there are 4 levels of brightness.

Poor quality
Our clock did not work out of the box. None of the buttons on the back functioned, the clock would not light up or turn on when receiving power through the included cable (which is only a USB-C to USB-A and does not include a wall adapter), and the only form of response or life we could receive out of it was a loud constant beep. The item was well packaged so the fact that it came completely bricked was honestly a surprise.

It's nice
Not much to say for me, I bought a used one... didnt come with a manual. While amazon themselves couldnt find it, doing a bit of research on the company itself and emailing them, they gladly emailed me a manual for the clock so I could use it more effectively. It looks great, operates decently... it runs a tad bit fast? but at least every once in a while it syncs the time and brings it back. but overall? it looks and works great.

Absolutely gorgeous.
Beautiful display. Lots of color options. 12/24 option.WiFi web interface is a little barebones.Haven't figured out how to disable the alarm yet, though. Instructions say to set 88 when setting alarm, but you can't as far as I can tell (23:59:59 would be highest for each field). Strange...

Fun Clock, Primitive Software
The clock is fun with its faux tube esthetic and colorful, always mutating display. Quite bright but best in dim light. Construction is good and attractive. Not a bedroom clock. The software is annoying. Barely translated out of Chinese and it leaves a Wi-Fi access point cluttering up my list of networks in my home. Also, its time zones are completely wrong. I’m also worried about giving such a device of such unknown provenance access to my home network, just to access the time server.

Instructions/setup is a mess
Once you get it set up, it's ok, If you hook it up to your iPhone (which is the only way I ever got it to work, the buttons are a useless mess) the instructions appear to be only in Chinese but there is a 'paging' arrow at the top left that you can hit and it has a page with somewhat better English buttons. It's pretty and when my real Nixie Tube clock died (they don't last long) I wanted to try this. It looks much more durable although not nearly as cool as a real Nixie Tube Clock. I'm keeping it, but it was a very, very close decision.

Power port won't hold cord
Gave this as a gift for someone's office and just learned they never used it because the port for the power in the back won't hold the cord in. It resets everything on the clock everytime it's bumped and makes a beeping noise everytime as well. This is not worth the money because it's unusable. It's a very cool concept, and the person I got it for would've loved it if it worked. Will update review if we can get it replaced.
