With a slight breeze they make a great melody and that creates smiles. These are not humongous wind chimes. They are of average size with the pipe parts being on the thicker size...bonus. These chimes thus far have weathered many a Spring and Summer storm and are holding their own. They create a deeper melody one would expect from a sturdier wind chime as opposed to the light tinkerbell ones that sound like fairies are near. I purchased these on sale and say that would be the way to go because I would say the price point at regular price was more than I would be willing to pay for the size. On sale it's fair. I am happy with this purchase and would get these again.

These wind chimes don’t just tinkle—they sing. The sound is deep and resonant, almost like a mini meditation bell in your yard. It's great. Not annoying, just beautiful and relaxing. Due to the larger size it doesn't ring constantly. Just a nice sound when there's a breeze.

I Purchased 2 of these windchimes in the green. I opened one of them and was very nicely surprised to see how well they were packaged. No tangles. The metal pieces are very nicely crafted with cording that is weatherproof. One piece is made of wood, makes a nice tone when it bumps the pipes. So if you want this to be out in the rain, you might treat the wood with several more layers of weatherproofing spray. It is already sprayed, but with time might need more application. I am very happy with this wind chime, it has beautiful tones. They are not necessarily deep tones, but they are what I would call medium. It is a heavier item, so needs a solid hanging secure location. Has a nice large sturdy hook on its top. This wind chime was very well priced, I am giving the second to my girlfriend for her birthday. I love the color choices, this is unusual for most products that are this well-made. I would recommend you order more than one in different colors because you will find yourself wanting several more!

These are nice chimes. Not a bellowing, gong-like sound, yet not a tinny, dainty sound; they’re ‘medium-toned’…if THAT makes sense. They activate in medium breezes, too.I ordered the “silver coated aluminum” and, although the picture provided here on the site indicates a more silvery hue, mine had more black paint on them which resulted in a dark gray color, overall.As for their construction…they seem well-made, yet the powder-coated finish is lumpy/drippy in spots, scratched, or just missing. If I were hanging these in an area exposed to rain, I would definitely hit them with a coating of clear spray paint beforehand — just to seal all of the bald areas.For a Prime Day deal, definitely worth it…and a much better value than any others I’ve seen in stores at this price point. (Gifted one to a friend who’s also quite happy with hers).
