Beats matches and liquid fuels and gases..always ready to use
2nd purchase. Last longer than a lighter..water won't affect it as it will matches..waxed rope gives you a long burning flame to start fire..no flamable liquids or games to leak..waxed rope flame is wind proof..bought 2 more for son's and grandson's backpacks..keep mine on Harley..Instant picnic : buy steak n potato n foil n find a park with dead tree branches n a grill..fast food be easier but not as fun for a group of riders..buy it

Excellent product to have.
Absolutely love this product, I ordered a second one. It’s quick and easy to start a fire, the flames created is pretty big to burn wood fast. I highly recommend for camping! It is small, light and wouldn’t take up any room in your bag., literally fits in your back pocket. Quality of the product is not cheap, whatsoever. Purchase these just to have, you won’t regret it.

Nice Gift
I bought this torch as a gift for my husband, and he liked it. The only issue is that I misjudged the size — I should have gotten a smaller one since this one is a bit heavy. He can’t afford the extra weight when going on hikes, so for those who also go on hiking trips, it’s better to get a smaller version

Easy to use in all conditions so far
Extremely easy to use. Has not failed in the woods, and fire is important. I would buy the smaller version next time, as the larger version is a bit large for packing, but I have nerve problems in my hand which made this one easy to hold, but I'd buy the brand again regardless.

This is the best fire start like this that I have used. This is easier to use than other brands. I like that it has the rope attached to it.

I finally had time to test it out. It is a great product. Fantastic concept. I believe the larger of the 2. Wish now I bought the smaller one, for ease of packing. This will last me for years to come.
