I've used this product a couple times so far ...both times my teeth were left very sensitive ..but it went away within a few hours ...it does give my teeth a nice sparkle and it feels extremely clean after every use ...i probably won't buy again because of the sensitivity issue but I do think it is a good product because of the natural ingredient...100% charcoal as opposed to other products which add other stuff in there ...once this is done I will go back to the one I had before which was less harsh ..I think because it was steam activated ..it took a while to see whitening results but it gave me the same super clean feeling and my teeth didn't hurt afterwards ...the toothbrush btw is very nice ...I thought it would be super soft and flimsy but the bristles are somewhat firm but not as hard as a regular toothbrush ...nice toothbrush :) I haven't read the ebook yet but I will soon

Great product! I saw results after the first use. If I were to actually use it every day, then I would probably see greater results, but even if I miss a day, I do see some change in color on my teeth. I don’t like that the charcoal gets stuck in my gums, so I have to floss it out afterwards, and it gets down deep in between my gums. And if you don’t floss it out, then it’ll look like something’s wring with your gums. The taste is tasteless. Many friends ask me what it tastes like and you don’t really taste it because you’re not cleaning your tongue with charcoal, you’re cleaning your teeth. The tongue scraper works MIRACLES!! I take my mouth hygiene very serious and when I use the scraper, stuff comes out that I thought I already cleaned with my regular toothbrush. It helps with bad breath and it leaves my overall mouth feel squeaky clean!

The reason I chose this product over the many others like it was that I loved how it came with a fully biodegradable toothbrush. The toothbrush itself is fine and came in cardboard packaging. What disapppints me is that the cardboard packaging was wrapped in two layers of plastic and so was the tub of charcoal powder. Both were padded in plastic bubble wrap and were in a large box. Neither are fragile. Please realize that someone who is shopping for a biodegradable item probably isn’t a fan of that much unnecessary packaging. Please do the Earth a favor and do away with it!As far as the actual product, it actually made a noticeable difference on my 10 year old daughter’s teeth in one use. I’m not sure she will use it again because she said it tasted awful and it made quite a mess. It made my gums sensitive and didn’t make any difference after one use but I will try again. Even keeping my mouth closed while brushing it made a huge mess.

I've gotta go against the consensus and downgrade this product ... it's just too messy. The product is exactly as it says, so I can't fault the manufacturer or the seller. But using it is an adventure ... it gets black everywhere, and it takes about a half roll of paper towels to clean up. I put a little powder in a small bathroom cup, as suggested, and mixed it with a bit of water. OK so far. Then I got a bit on the supplied (soft) toothbrush and started brushing. It got all over me, all over the sink, and all over anything else in the vicinity. :) Admittedly, it might be user error, but I'm not going to try it again.After that one use I couldn't tell a difference in whiteness, but even after brushing with regular toothpaste and a regular toothbrush, it was still all over my mouth, and especially the gum line. You wouldn't want to use this product right before going out in public ... women and children will be frightened. I used it yesterday, and the black residue is mostly gone now, but I suppose I'll wrap it tightly and just toss it in the trash. The powder is so fine that it's much like a vapor and just hangs in the air. So I wouldn't want the lid to come off the jar accidentally.

I have change of mind about this product. The more I use it the more I realize that it does whiten teeth. It is still sloppy however they give you a brush and tongue cleaner

I only used it once and it stained around my gums/the sink enough that I threw it away and went back to my previous (more expensive) brand. So I can't speak for whitening capabilities, but it is messy. 3 stars for the tongue scraper though.

Lovit so far! I didn’t receive the free benefit thing but that’s not the end of the world! Isn’t very messy and the bamboo toothbrush is a bit hard for your gums. I brush my teeth afterwards like normal but there will still be black charcoal in between your teeth.But I gave it 3 stars because my teeth and mouth feel fresh and clean it doesn’t taste like anything.

I tried this product today for the first time. I saw a significant improvement in the shade of my teeth after that one use. I'm sure with regular use it will only improve. The only down side I saw was that I splashed charcoal everywhere but that is solely user error. The bamboo brush they give is awesome so you don't get your normal toothbrush all black. Speaking of which, I suggest brushing your teeth as normal after using the product to get traces of it out of your gums. My teeth actually feel polished!

So I'm writing this review to possibly give some real insight on the product. When shopping for this product, and any product I buy I always read the reviews , and some from this product almost made me not want to buy it. So I will simply answer the questions I had here.1. Will it stain my gums and teeth like people said? No, you do have a little excess of black on your gums but nothing that can't be brushed away, and/or flossed out.2. Is it really that messy?Yes and no. When everyone said don't open it fast they're right, but I opened the jug normally and nothing split just don't open it upside down. It didn't stain my sink if you wash it out after using it. I am a very messy brushed so I did get some on my mirror and walls but it all wipes away.3. Did my gums burn after brushing then using toothpaste?No, my gums did not burn. This may be different if you have a gum issue, it might also be because I use natural fluoride free toothpaste that might help.Does it actually work?I have only been using the product for 3 days and I'm impressed with the results so far. My teeth feel clean, and I'm not burning my gums with store bought whitening trays. So yes I believe it does.And which I didn't know this product can also act as a face mask! Which is awesome. The bamboo brush is significantly softer than my regular brush and is extremely comfortable. Overall if you're looking for a natural cleaner for the price , quantity and quality I would definitely suggest this product.

What everyone else said. It works. You're not ingesting peroxide. You get to look like a zombie for a few minutes in the mirror each day, which is pretty cool. Find yourself a stainless steel sink to do it in if you can because it's black! Don't wear your wedding dress or crisp white dress shirt while brushing with charcoal. I put about a 1/4 teaspoon in a little egg cup sized dish, wet the toothbrush and mix it together, and then brush. I follow up by brushing with toothpaste using a separate brush to get the black bits out of my teeth. There's no worry about black lips or teeth if you rinse well. No staining whatsoever for me. And I have braces at the moment. There's something poetic, even religious, in that the blackest substance known to humans makes our teeth white as snow!

This picture is from a one month difference of the whiteness of my teeth. I only use it once it a week so if you use more often you’ll probably have faster results! Very fine and not damaging to my enamel at all. My dentist approved this from other charcoal products. Highly recommend!

I bought this and have used it once and won't use it again. First and foremost, it makes a horrible mess so definitely use it in the shower. I found after I used it I had tons of little black bits of charcoal stuck in my teeth/gums and just flossing and regular brushing did not get rid of them - it took me ages to get them removed from my gum line.

Really surprised by this product. One treatment and I can already see a slight difference (see picture).Have some baby wipes not far because like everybody else is saying, this is a bit messy but nothing you can't wipe in less than 2 minutes after.Great product. Will update after 1 month of daily use
