Best baby product ever
This thingy saved my sanity. Baby hated drying & changing after bath...as well as being in the car. The amount of times I pressed the music button! As soon as he heard the music and saw the lights (from about 6 weeks) he would stop screaming and stare in awe. When he was a few months old he loved to hold onto it while the music played.Things I love about this:- it's cheap. If your baby never falls in love with it, you haven't paid the price of a 90 quid Jumperoo. (PS if you think baby doesn't like it, give it to him the next day. And the next. You never know.)- it's small. You can shove it in your bag if you're going somewhere. Also means a 3 month old can wave it around and he won't be knocked out if it falls on his face!- handle means you can clip it onto things. I clipped it onto an elastic buggy toy string for the carseat and it still never ceases to amuse him!- durable. Baby (now 9mo) has chucked it onto floor heaps and this thing just won't break.- pretty nice music, for a baby toy. It plays classical tunes rather than the typical ding-a-ling nursery rhymes that personally drive me around the bend.- it has lights as well as music.

Brilliant distraction toy
This toy is brilliant.Saves you from many a meltdown and is a great distraction tool. The tunes are lovely as classical and you can control the volume and neither level is too loud and the flashing lights also help capture the little one's attention. Our Granddaughters little face lights up when we start playing with it and she uses the handle as a bit of a teether and can push the start button herself.Very handy to pop in the changing bag on your way out too.Batteries seem to have lasted ages. Highly recommend.

A Perfect First Toy. Calming and Engaging.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this Baby Einstein star when my daughter was 5 weeks old, I chose it for the fact it will play music when knocked without the need to press any buttons. I attached it to her play gym and she loved kicking it with her feet, a great toy for introducing the idea of cause and effect. The star is sturdy and good quality, the face is made from a soft plastic and the points from a silky fabric. On the reverse there is both a hanging loop and a strap that closes with velcro, although we have found that the velcro is not very strong and is easy for an older baby to pull off. There are 2 different volume levels neither is super loud so it doesn't become annoying. The music has a gentle and pleasant sound and there are 2 different modes that are easily changed with a switch. The first is motion activated, which is the one we mostly use. In this setting once the star is tapped or shaken a 10 second snippet of one of the tunes will play. In the second mode the music plays continuously by itself and each of the melodies is longer. Whilst the music plays there are 3 lights on the face of the star that flash in time to the music. The main issue we have had with this toy is that the paint is starting to chip off of the face, even though it hasn't had any particularly rough play. I also think it would have improved the toy if the stars points were made of different textures of fabrics to add more sensory interest. My daughter is now nearly 3 but we kept hold of this toy and are using it again with our second child. To begin with we hung it on his bouncy chair arch where him kicking his legs would rock the chair enough to activate the motion activated music. Now that he is a bit older we put it next to him when on his play mat or in tummy time and he likes to whack it with his arms (see video)Overall an engaging and soothing toy for a young baby. It would make an excellent first toy or baby shower gift. It is still well loved even by my daughter, who likes to carry it around with her when her brother's not playing with it. Highly recommend.

This is so sweet. The melodies and sound baby adores it.
This is actually the cutest little thing ever!!Ordered for for my 2 year old. Who due to a medical condition. Is the size of a 5. Month old.She adores it. It is held nicely in her hand. And the lights flash and pulsate the the tune. And the lovely songs that come out.. When you gently press the play.. Or FF button...Honestly. Its adorable. . Soothing too. And she sits and moves her other arm like conducting a Orchestra!! :)It's not to loud. So as to be annoying to us. But loud enough to be hears by a baby or toddler. And nice and compact yet not small And rubbish.Plus is pretty Indistructable... She has dropped... Thrown... Launched... And even in water... (I did quickly grab it and wave it about... For some reason) and it has survived.Really great little toy.
