Have 2 very timid cats who dislike grooming, one long and one short hair. They both had horrible knotted clumps of hair on their backs. Bought this shaver to see if they would tolerate it just to get the clumps off quickly. Honestly so impressed with how easy this was to use and how quick I managed to do the girls. In particular the long haired girl would have to be chased round the house with a brush, but with this she just laid there allowing me to shave her, even rolling over for more. So pleased 😀

Don’t normally tend to leave reviews all that often but with this I had to! It’s amazing. So quiet and easy to shave my long haired cat. We were taking her to get her tummy and bottom trimmed every couple of months which was costing £30 each time so we risked buying this to do it ourselves and it was worth it. We just gave it a go to get her and us used to doing it and we did ok. No more paying out for someone else to do it! Hair comes away easy and she remained fairly calm x

Good clippers but have used better. Nice and quiet though. Does the job.

Superb quality set with everything you need. A little louder than expected but introduced our puss cat to it slowly through the day. It made short work of the big mats he had under his back legs that were too close to his skin for scissors. The best bit is the steel comb didn't know we needed one til we tried it, for our maine coons it's excellent

Just what was needed to remove the matted fur.

Worked well on the matted belly of our British Longhair. Being a cat, he hated it.. i would not have done it if there were any other ways of getting rid of the matted parts but since it was severe we had no other option than shaving it off. And if you have to shave, this is a good piece of equipment to have at home. Not too loud, gets the job done.

We have a long haired domestic tuxedo who gets a bit matted sometimes. I wanted something safe and reliable I could use to remove these often dense mats and I am so far impressed with these trimmers. They are nice to hold and use, not too noisy at all so far. Our Jess hasn't as yet panicked at the noise of them and she can be nervy. Today It tackled the largest of her mats and it came off so easily and with no nicks. I liked the functions available too. Easy to clean. I would like the manufacturers to have provided more in the way of instructions. I have little idea of cat grooming but did my own research first. Would recommend.

Awful. Didn't cut matted fur at all, had to jiggle to cut even small areas. Don't say it does matted fur when it doesnt! This was a replacement Of my last pair of useless pet clippers, looks the same and behaves the same. Tried to remove the blade to clean and it fell into multiple parts and is broke. (Many you.tube vids later, still broke). Looking for replacement cutting head so it's not a complete waste of ££ but doesn't look like there is one. So almost 40 smackers down the drain again. Oh and the cleaning brush is useless.Don't buy this
