It can be standalone or networked on the app

Decent Lock
Decent lock, I had some trouble with connecting to zwave network but once I figured it out it works well.Basically it uses a legacy security protocol and even if you have a robust zwave network it doesn't seem to be able to use the repeaters.The most important thing is just having it close to your hub when interviewing.

Airbnb Host Loves
As Airbnb host who integrate with SmartThings hubs to have full control of our door locks for guests, we highly suggest this particular door lock. It’s quality is wonderful it’s extremely easy to install, and the value of product for money is by far the best.

Not Yale app friendly
Be weary of this version. This does not work with the Yale app. I had to buy another $80 module adapter to get it to work with my Yale app.
