Great work “stress ball”
I really like both of the cubes that I’ve bought! I prefer the one with the “chalky” texture on the outside better, but this one is still really good. It holds up to being used a lot at work and remains intact and squishy! The color is vibrant and I do enjoy using it!

Fun to pass the time
Great quality material is strong and durable. Great for focus and build muscle strength. Great little hand muscle workout! Random color send but worked out OK. Wish we could choose though. Great tool use as directed not according to a stupid challenge! I'll be buying some for my classroom. Perfect size for teen to adult hands. Satisfying squishneess and returns to shape when done.

Now I get the hype
Okay this thing is really addictive. My only point of comparison are the NeeDoh Gumdrops and generic spherical squishy-fidgets.The NeeDoh Cube has a lovely, amazing doughy squish to it that is SO satisfying and soothing. I particularly love that it is a cube shape rather than a sphere; with a sphere there's really just the same squish in any given direction. With the Cube it feels different depending on the direction of squish (side, edge, corner) giving it WAY more interesting properties as you squish. I enjoy poking in the corners, pinching the edges sharper, poking in the flat sides, compressing in one direction and then the other, etc - it's just WAY more dynamic than a sphere. The Cube *is* a bit tacky out of the box and so as suggested by other owners I powdered mine (I used talc as I'm allergic to corn-based products like corn starch). This adds to the doughy feel and also helps keep hair and fuzz from sticking to the surface.I mentioned I also own a set of NeeDoh Gumdrops and I honestly couldn't pick one over the other as they do two different things for me. The Gumdrops are textured and have a different type of squish and are also far more tactilely interesting than a sphere. The Gumdrops are slightly smaller than the Cubes and are a tad more portable and fit a bit easier in a single, small hand, if that's of interest.I've only had my cube for about 5 weeks so I can't attest to its durability but I suspect it depends on how aggressive of a squisher you may be. I'm comparatively gentle with mine and never squeeze hard enough to get that translucent bubble effect going on - I'm also careful about squeezing around the plug so maybe that will help it live a long time, who knows.

DOES NOT HOLD UP - LASTED A WEEK 👀
Oh boy, where do I begin with this little cube of disappointment? The Schylling Nee-Doh Nice Cube stress ball promised to be the answer to all our fidgety prayers, but let me tell you, it's about as effective as using a marshmallow as a hammer.First off, let's talk about its alleged "stress-relieving" properties. If by "relieving stress" they mean "adding to your frustration," then sure, it's a winner! I've seen wet noodles with more resistance than this thing. For anyone with even a modicum of grip strength, squeezing this cube is like trying to crush a cloud - utterly pointless and slightly embarrassing. Now, I'm no professional arm wrestler, but I do consider myself to have a decent grip. After all, I've been training for years by carrying all my groceries in one trip and opening stubborn pickle jars. But this cube? It's like it's actively trying to escape from your hand, probably out of sheer embarrassment.Let's not forget about its durability, or should I say, lack thereof. I swear, I looked at it too intensely one day, and it started to sweat. Heaven forbid you actually use it during a stressful work call - you might end up with a handful of goo and a lot of explaining to do to your boss about why you're suddenly covered in what looks like alien slime.Speaking of work, if you're thinking this might be a discreet way to release some tension during those endless meetings, think again. The moment you start squeezing, it makes a noise that can only be described as a cross between a dying squeaky toy and your great-aunt Mildred's arthritic knee. So much for being inconspicuous. And don't even get me started on its supposed "non-toxic" nature. Sure, it might not poison you, but I'm pretty sure it's toxic to your dignity. Nothing says "I've got my life together" quite like furiously kneading a tiny cube that's slowly oozing between your fingers. In conclusion, if you're looking for a stress ball that will make you long for the good old days of bubble wrap and fidget spinners, then boy, do I have the product for you! The Nee-Doh Nice Cube: because sometimes, the best way to deal with stress is to create more of it.

Great exerciser for hands
Great to keep at the desk to use during working hours and/or next to your favorite chair for TV / reading time. This has really helped my grip and strengthened my hands. And it’s fun!

Lovely
Beautifully doughy and firm. I have a lot of needoh products and this one is in my favorites. A bit larger than my palm and quite hefty- gets wonderfully mushy and gummy feeling in the heat of my hands. No smell and no stick. All of that good stuff being said, my last 2 needoh products popped within the same week (the gumdrop, after less than 2 months of regular use & the groovy glob after 2 months of heavy use) Unfortunately there is nothing you can do once it breaks, so as well as being costly it just feels like a terrible environmental waste... Here is to hoping this one lasts a bit longer, though the plug, much like on my late gumdrop (rip) came with some gaps in its seam (the same sort of gaps that ultimately gave way after use). From my own experience and the experiences of people on reddit + other reviewers, these things have a short shelf life- whether that is planned obsolescence or just a serendipitous benefit to Schylling we do not know... I would be willing to spend more for a much more long lasting and durable toy from needoh- I feel there has to be some way to fix the weak plug issue. My only advice is to try not to squeeze too hard in such a way where a lot of pressure is pushed against the plug. It's annoying that you would even have to be cautious, though, as this is quite literally a stress toy! It should be able to handle stress.
