Thanks Magimix! Now I don't need a Nutribullet!
I love my magimix blender but have lately been lusting over the nutribullet merely because of the handy beakers.Magimix have answered my prayers! Now I can take my smoothies to work and whizz up handy batches of sauces as admired in the Bosh! vegan recipe videos! Not only that but sometimes you just don't need to use the whole jug and your smoothie gets wasted when it's stuck to the sides of it..I've only used them once so far for a smoothie. The opening part of the lid is a bit cumbersome as if you drink from it, it presses on your nose/forehead. Still that's just nit picking..And they are a bit expensive for what they are...nearly half the price of the nutribullet! But they're BPA free and can go in the dishwasher

You get what you pay for.....
Treated myself to a Magimix blender using vouchers I’d received, and it came with a mill attachment (on special offer). I hesitated about buying the blend cups as they’re not cheap. But the quality is excellent and it’s really useful being able to blend smaller quantities (eg for a marinade) as well as making the obvious smoothies. Moving the blade assembly from the jug to the blend cup is a little annoying but it’s not difficult. The clean function is really useful. Love the whole product, jug, mill and cups. Best quality and value for money on the market. No wonder they use them on Masterchef / Bake Off and the like!

Absolute robbery...
Yes, they're good quality - but so were the ones that came included with my last Ninja (total cost £58 GBP eight years ago!) I got these marked as 'used' for a bit cheaper than full price, but €54 for two plastic beakers and tops is bloody robbery! Note there is no blade assembly included. I'd return them only there's no other option. Should come free with the blender!

Ok but lids too tight for ease of handling.
These are pricey for what they are. They work well enough, but I spent a long time trying to get the screw-on lid off the smaller cup. I tried everything, warm water to soften the seal ring, a little oil dribbled in the crack of the lid edge... eventually I wrapped it in a tea towel for grip, pressed hard down and turned it. I recommend using a little vegetable oil on the seal ring and the inside of the screw top each time you use it. The same goes for the ring that goes onto the motor unit -even using the spatula as a spanner it was very hard to shift. These seem to me to be design faults, I’ve never had that sort of trouble with other brands in the past.

Handy but a bit complicated swapping blades over.
The cups are a useful addition to the jar for making individual size smoothies but they are a lot of bother as they share the blade assembly from the jar. The problem I have is moving the blade assembly over to the additional blender cups I also purchased. The black plastic screw ring on the jar has a large circumference to get a good grip with small hands and you have to make sure its tightend securely to avoid leaks on the cups (seems a bit easier on the jar as you have a handle to steady it, than the cups which are quite wide for small hands) and you have to use the spatualler handle as a lever in slots on the ring (as per the instruction manual) to both tighten and loosen off ( as you have to for the cups to get the contents out). Even then then takes some force and I have to get my husband to do it with larger hands. So a bit of a phaff if swapping regularly between Jar and Cups. Needs some sort of easier grip plastic spanner rather that the thin awkward to grip spatualler handle. The blender cups ought to come with their own blade assembly (considering the high price for what they are) to save keep swapping over. I am not convinced the plastic ring will last either as very thin. Improvement needed Magimix.
