It works well for my bedroom. It cools the whole room efficiently and the temperate is well maintained as set. And the noise is minimal, you will not notice it.Besides, the manual is detailed with sufficient instructions for the installation, though I also get a hand from my friend. Overall, it is not difficult to install it.Highly recommend it for its quality and acceptable price!

I had the mini split installed in my garage and it has made a huge difference. I needed something that could heat or cool the space quickly since I am not in there all the time, but when I am, I want it comfortable fast. This unit absolutely delivers.It kept the garage warm all winter, which allowed me to keep working out and doing DIY projects. Now that it is warmer, the cooling is just as fast and effective. It is also incredibly quiet.Installation was smooth. I hired a professional, but it looked DIY friendly with clear instructions. The system looks sleek on the wall and does not take up much space. I also love the smart features. It works with Alexa and has a remote, which makes it even more convenient to use.

Very satisfied easy to install my wife and I did it in an afternoon. Very quiet it exceeded my expectations. The spring weather we're having is up and down on the 80 degree days the ac works really well we've had a few nights where the temperature was 30 with frost the heat performed great 72 in my living room dining room kitchen also down the hallway to the bathroom and bedroom. I had a vacuum pump so that worked out all in all Very good system

I bought three of these during Black Friday sales 11/2024, but didn’t get them installed until last week.So far, the unit is functioning as it should and managed to keep my shipping container house cooled down from SW desert 105 outside temp to a pleasant 85 degrees.I did pay a pro to install this, but turns out I could have done a better job. They installed the drain pipe on an incline. It started leaking from the front after a few daysCostway was more than helpful while I was troubleshooting. Using a photo they sent me off the back of the unit, I managed to figure out how to get the cover plate off without so I didn’t have to lift the indoor unit off the wall.With a dual issue of a pinhole in the drain line, Costway shipped out a new drain line as soon as they saw what was happening via video.I hope the other two units I have go smoother, but I can’t fault the company for the install issues!I’ve sent friends here to buy this model. Totally worth the price.Get a vacuum and do the install yourself.

I bought 3 of these units I have 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs, we have a barndominum story, the 2 units keep the upper floor quite cool, bottom floor stays cool because we all know cold air sinks, only have to run one downstairs if in kitchen or doing laundry… I had them installed.

We were very disappointed in the delivery. There was some sort of mix up and it showed delivered when it was not. When we tried to contact them we could not get any help from the company or Amazon support. It was scheduled to be here on a Friday. Both boxes showed up Saturday evening late... very late. That said, we worked on the install in the evenings during the week and finished it on the morning of July 4th. The install was simple and straight forward. In face, it was easier than I imagined. All totaled, it took about 8 hours. That includes running a new 230volt circuit from the other side of the house. Actual A/C installation, including vacuum time was about 4 hours.The temp outside was approximately 91 degrees when we turned it on. The room temp was near 80 degrees. In less than 1 hour, the room temp was at 70 degrees. This unit cools very quickly.The remote control is very handy since we mounted it relatively high on the wall. The remote allows you to controll all of the functions easily without having to geylt up.The most impressive thing is how quiet this unit runs. It made less noise than our ceiling fan. Waaay quieter than a window unit. It made a huge difference.I give the unit five stars, the ease of installation five stars and the quietness of the unit five stars. However, I am not impressed with the customer service at all so I only gave them four stars.Things you should know:It does not come with a wall mount bracket. For the 12000 BTU, the outside unit only weighs 15 pounds so the small bracket will work fine.The lines come filled with an inert gas that you will release and then you must vacuum down to -1. This will require a vacuum pump and guages but it is easy and quick to do.You will need to install an electrical disconnect next to the unit if it is out of sight of the breaker. This disconnect can be useless or fuseable. I used a fuseable disconnect and 10A fuses as recommended in the manual.*Important*The unit comes recharged with freon. Once you pull the vacuum, you will have to open the valves (requires a number 5 metric Allen wrench) to allow the freon to circulate.*Note*The installation requires an adjustable wrench torque tool. Be sure to purchase one of these before hand to torque the flare fittings. They are not too expensive. The torque was more than I initially thought and I am happy that I purchased the tool. These fittings have to be fairly tight.Overall, the install is easy, the look is clean and they provide the materials to make it look professional. The unit, inside and out, is very quiet.I am not sure about the lifespan but we shall see.Install completed on July 4th 2025.

Wanted to save some money as I needed new heating and cooling system. Glad I got this one. My Instaltion guys said it is the first costway they installed and loved it. They said it is a really good unit even. Got one installed in my house. Cools and heats whole house. Definitly buy this mini split.
