Its more like 12- 18 guage
The hole that's holds the wire is too small and you have to quadruple check to see if it holds th wire in properly esp. With 20 guage which likes to come loose while putting other wires in after done make sure to check if any of the other cables have come loose. Two wire connector holds better than the 4 for some reason. The first cable would come loose everytime I insert the next wire. ??

These are great. Anyone who does wiring should have these in their tool box.

Thick wire = Great: Thin or Braided wire = Not So Great
The nuts aren't very consistent. Most are too tight. Some will accept thin or braided wires, but most will not. All will accept thick wires, though. So, if you're pairing thick wires to thick wires, they're perfect.
