Our back patio was horribly hot throughout most of the day, and we couldn’t afford to build a wooden cover because of lumber prices. We decided to try our luck with this as a temporary solution.It has exceeded our expectations. It made our patio usable because it blocks out most of the sun. Installation was pretty easy for my husband, but we did have to buy hardware since it didn’t come with any.We’ve had it for a couple months now, and it isn’t showing any signs of weathering, even through the 117F heat wave that his the PNW.

I've purchased two of these living in Tucson, AZ it gets hot out here, there are times that the wind is howling so bad that I have feelings they are going to rip right off and go flying down the road. Surprisingly they've held up to winds in excess of 45mpg sustained. They hold off much of the monsoon rain and lets it drain off on the sides.
