Great, affordable little USB hub!
Loving it so far! With the weird vendetta laptop makers have against providing usb ports, this was a required purchase for me when I upgraded from my old laptop with 3 USB ports to the new one with only 2 (sigh). The reviews had me a little nervous, with the top review at the time talking about horrible build quality and their hub basically dissolving in their hands the day they got it, but I’ve been happy with every Anker cable and charger I’ve purchased, enough that I keep coming back, so I decided to try their USB hub as well, and I’m glad I did.Mine feels very sturdy, and I’ve used it for about a month, including a few trips tossed in a backpack with other assorted computer-y stuff to go across town to a friend’s house, and it shows no sign of falling apart. With 4 ports, I’ve started leaving some of my charging cords plugged in all the time (I just unplug the whole hub when I’m not charging or using anything) and although I don’t think I’ve ever actually been using all 4 ports at one time, I have yet to run into any issues with it charging even two items and running my laptop cooling pad at once. It seems to charge/run at least three things just as fast as if I’m only charging my phone, so no complaints there. I haven’t had any issues with it disconnecting so far, it’s been plug and play with no problems, charging, running my cooling pad, and transferring data from an external hard drive to my laptop and back, don’t know what more I’d even need it to do.

Because Sometimes You Just Need... MOAR
Look, I don’t want to live in a world where I have to choose between charging my headset, syncing my external drive, plugging in a webcam, and using a USB fan to survive office life. I want all of it. At once. And the Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub understood the assignment. It’s compact, sleek, and stupidly easy to use. Plug it in, and bam—you’re living that multiple-device dream, no drivers, no nonsense. Data transfer is quick, ports don’t flake out, and the whole thing just works. Like Anker always does.Let’s be honest: computers never come with enough USB ports. And if yours does, you’re probably not pushing it hard enough. This little beast is the "moar" button I needed—one click, and suddenly my setup feels way more capable (and just slightly more chaotic, in a good way).Perfect for workstations, travel kits, or just asserting dominance over cable clutter. Would I buy another? Only if I start collecting USB-powered aquariums or something. But good to know it’s ready when I do.

Works for what I need it for, any issues I had were all manageable
After a couple years of use I would start to get some issues where the connection of 1-2 of my peripherals would not automatically be detected after starting up my PC, but all I had to do was reconnect the USB hub and or my peripherals and then It would still work completely fine. That's also a generally rare problem for me, so when it does happen I fix it quickly and am able to stay connected fine. More than likely just due to how long I have had it.I don't use all the ports as I don't have that many things to plug into it, so for me personally it's the perfect port capacity.

Good to expand a monitor's built-in hub
I've purchased two of these because they're simple, reliable, and just work. I needed to expand my USB connections on my monitor's hub. I actually stuck two of them to the back of my monitor with double-sided tape, and now all my peripherals are neatly plugged in and out of view. One thing to note, I ran out of USB bandwidth through my monitor. While this wouldn't happen with just one hub, I experienced it with two. Everyone's setups will be different though, but it's just something I have to work around with mine.Lastly, while they don't support charging they do support powering things like cameras, keyboards, mice, mics, etc..One improvement would be a detachable cable to allow for repairability so I can't give it 5 stars.

Good Value
Simple, does what it's supposed to do. The cable is long enough for easy placement but does not get in the way. This is a solid piece of kit at a very reasonable price. Using a 1TB USB drive for a backup showed the hub sustained transfer speeds with no issues. Would recommend.

Solid, well built and works well!
I've been using these USB hubs for a few years now. I do a lot of work with USB drives, but not enough to justify a USB duplicator. Mostly just transferring files between three computers. I have two of these hubs, and recently had to replace one simply because it wore out. Well, now the second one has worn out and needed replacing. I don't consider them wearing out to be an issue, knowing how many USB drives I go through. For the money, these hubs have put up with a lot of connect/disconnect counts, and them wearing out should only be expected. They are solid, well built and put up with a lot of abuse with the way I use them. Figure on them lasting about three years under the load I put them under. Most people just use them to hook up extra USB devices and leave them there. The hubs should last damn near forever under those conditions.

Money saver
I had been unable to recharge some of my personal items. My son realized my one computer port was not working. Since I plugged this is all my items charged. Saved me a lot of money in ordering replacement items.

Good product, exactly as advertised
Bought this because my new laptop only has a single USB A port. It works as advertised and no issues connecting to other USB items. Works exactly as advertised. My windows 11 computer recognized anything plugged into it and doesn't appear to slow down reading and writing from USB memory devices.
