Nest door bell
I brought this to replace my old first generation nest door bell which I had for 8 years.As the bracket was already in place it was easy to remove the old one and add the new one.

Reconditioned item which had faults.
Reconditioned item which had faults, google stated that it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could help me with. Returned to amazon but be wary these are not new as implied.

Nest wired video doorbell
Very difficult to get working for me, as it wouldn't connect easily to the broadband or my android smartphone.Disappointed but now it's setup, it works, but there is a short delay between pressing the bell and getting the notification. So the caller has usually left before I can respond.

Second hand doorbell?
Item was badly damaged in appearance and not a new doorbell with clear signs of wear and tear.Very disappointed and absolutely no value for money.

Poor quality manufacturing.
A great doorbell system that is sadly let down by its poor manufacturing quality. They are very prone to cracking and delaminating from exposure to the weather. As they are intended for outdoor use I would expect a lot more than 12 months of life. I am currently on a warranty replacement for my initial purchase and with or without a cover the same thing keeps on happening. Improve it or remove it Google Nest!
