Tough braid
Used many name brands and feel suffix has good abrasion resistance, quiet thru the guides and holds knot strength. With 15# braid the 20# mono leader snapped before the braid did. It’s as thin as the thinnest and cast well. It’s my preference when I can buy it on sale but it is worth it when it priced comparable to other name brands.

Smoothest braided line available
I have been using suffix line exclusively for probably eight years and the coating they put on it at the factory is so smooth. You can get a lot of wind knots out.I mostly use the 10 pound braid on my spinning reels but I also use the 50 and even the 65 pound braid on my bait cast occasionally and I absolutely love the line.I use coastal blue for top water fishing and also for saltwater applications where I also include a florocarbon leaderI use the dark green suffix braid, mostly around vegetation and on my flipping rods or frog rodsI use the high visibility line for wacky rigging or for Ned rigs when my clients can’t feel the bite and they have to visually see the line move off and for that I usually use 10 pound

Never fails me compared to other braids!
Really one of the best braid at the consumer level (non commercial folks).Extremely strong for the stated strength compared to other brands such as power pro super slickv2 or diawa j braid x8 grand.PP super slick v2 is smooth but that comes at a price of line strength. Easily snaps if it comes into contact with rough surfaces.J braid is extremely smooth and is used for light lures and freshwater but isn’t as strong. Also discolors the fastest.Suffix 832 is strong and smooth BUT definitely becomes less smooth the more it’s used. Color fades slower than j braid but strength remains solid.I use this for general surf fishing off the rocks and heavier tackle in the 20, 30 and 40lbs variants.

It catches the fish!
There is no better line for fishing. This line does some valuable line things. Would highly recommend for all your salt water fishing purposes.

best braid for inshore fishing
832 is really limp line so you do not get a lot of windknots. It casts well, great sensitivity, and is strong. I like the coastal camo color for inshore fishing. I do use a leader and not sure whether it is just in my head but believe fish do not see the line as well because of the color. yet I can see the line enter the water well.

Line stays too lose.
I purchased this because of all the good reviews, but this line is complete crap. I have never purchased this brand before, but I wanted this exact color, so I looked for it in a line that had gotten plenty of good reviews, so I wound up purchasing this brand. Now, to the problem. It unravels on the spool before your very eyes. If I do not constantly cast it, the line just unravels for no reason. And I don't mean just a few inches either. After it gets done unraveling, it looks like you have doubled the spool with line. I have to keep pulling so much out, that twice it got tangled in itself, not as bad as a backlash, but enough that it was a hassle to unwind it. Maybe it was a bad spool or maybe it was the waxy coating on it that makes it do it, either way. I will not be purchasing this brand again. I have always used spider wire from Walmart and have never had this issue, so it's back to spider wire for me.

Good stuff
Put this on my spinning reel to use offshore along with my wind-on leader. Should work great.
