Three movies in one set.
Thor, by Marvel Studios, released in 2011 is the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Before I start you don’t NEED to have watched the other movies but it kind of helps. Basic plot - Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, does something stupid so Odin, played by Anthony Hopkins, removes his powers and exiles him to Earth. Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, takes advantage of this by trying to show his father just what a good son he is….by creating problems he plans to solve. Or maybe he just does it for the kicks. Toss in Natalie Portman as Jane Foster who becomes Thor’s lover plus cameo appearances by Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury and Jeremy Renner as ‘Hawkeye’ and you have a great cast. The setting of Asgard and many of the other worlds, such as Jotunheim, are a big part of the story and really made the film for me. Marvel seemed to do pretty well with capturing the feel and the characters of the myths. Which is good because the plot is somewhat basic. And scenes on Earth do kind of slow things down. But it made a ton of money and the people loved it. Or they loved Loki. I’m not too sure. I would give it a four out of five.Thor: The Dark World came out in 2013 and is…Frost Giants replaced by Dark Elves. Also we get Christopher Eccleston as the Dark Elf Maletkith. Once again basic story ….Dark Elves plan to change the universe back the way it was because they liked it that way. BOO!Once again it is the characters and settings that make this film. Do you need to see the other films in the MCU? It would help. It explains why Natalie Portman’s character keeps slapping people and why Loki knows what Captain America looks like.In the end Thor and Loki team up to save the day. There is a lot of humor, action, and some drama. While I was not impressed by the, once again, simple story I did like the pacing, characters, settings, and some call backs to the first film. Four out of five.Thor: Ragnarok came out in 2017 and let me say right out of the gate - BEST OF ALL THREE MOVIES. I don’t want to spoil anything but the 17th films in the MCU is the best. Not only is much of the original cast back we also have Cate Blanchett as Hela, who is the first offspring of Odin and KIND of based on Hel, Jeff Goldblum as the DELIGHTFUL Grandmaster, and Tessa Thompson as a hard drinking Valkyrie turned slave trader. Plus Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo! What more can you want! IT’S the end of the world…well, kind of. No romance, just heart pumping action and lots of humor. Oh, a giant wolf. Five out five.13 divided by 3 is around 4.33 so the set gets four of five.

Awesome set of movies
I ordered the blu-ray set of these movies and watched all three of them last night. They were awesome. There were no problems at all with the disks or the movies. No skipping, sub-titles worked great, and I completely enjoyed myself.I have noticed that whenever one orders DVD movies that one has to make sure that they are for the right region that they will be watched in. One also needs to make sure that they are not used as used disks can have scratches, bad spots, or not for the right region. As I said, I had no problems with any of the three disks. Awesome movies to watch especially when watched in the right order so one understands how one story goes into the next.

3 Very Good Movies
I was not a comic book reader as a kid and was never into all of the superheroes. Not even a big fan of all of the Marvel films, but of the ones that I have enjoyed, the Thor films for me have ranked up to the very top. They have some of the best humor of all of the Marvel films, especially Ragnarok which would rank in my top 5 of all time. For humor, on par with the first Guardians of the Galaxy film.
